I've used Photo Explosion for years, and with my new Windows 8, I decided to upgrade ----- HUGE mistake. Program is unworkable, and is missing many good features that the old one had.

Gonna go to ebay and buy the old version.

IT CRASH ALL THE TIME AND THERE IS NO HELP AT ALL!! I HAVE VERSION 5 AND NEVER LET ME FINISH MY PROJECTS BE CAUSE IT STOPS WORKING ANS i LOOSE WHAT ALREADY HAD MADE

Couldn't get past the registration code dialog box. Only accepts numbers even though the registration code includes letters as well...what a waste. When I went to the website to get a refund, the process requires you, the user, to enter the last 6 digits of the UPC code. I tried all relevant combinations and the process failed there to as well. Just want my money back now at this point...

I had more tools and features with the free Arcsoft software that came with my printer. I used this junk for 2 days and pretty much decided to uninstall and scrap it. Nothing makes any sense and you can't even do basic functions like cut, and paste, without a lot of hassles. You can't blend or smudge the edges of a pasted object.....An utter waste of money. The tool bar features are barely useable. The designers of this software should go to work for Microsoft -- or maybe they do.

i do photos for a living ... this is such a waste of time to even start to say how upset i am at photo explosion 5.0 .. DONT BUY IT ... ( oh it works with windows 8 .. you'll love it ... ) BULL cra*... i used photo explosion 3 and it was a lot better ... im taking 5.0 back to best buy and getting my money back ... i think im going to switch photo editing products too .

I Down loaded the product from the CD and it would start in a small window than crash. Windows said it was not Windows compatible with Windows 7. Contacted Nova about the problem. They said it was compatible with windows 7 and that I should tell them what Windows really said. (LOL) Is that a joke ? Must be a private one. I took the product back to the store. I would like a Photo system which would down load to my computer and work without having to fight with the manufactures. I would like a program that has really good Tec. service.

I got PHOTOS EXPLOSION DELUXE for Christmas--it has NO instructions and I couldn't make head or tails out of it! I had used another photo program and even made slide shows so I was not totally ignorant about using one. This one makes NO sense--gives you NO help--apparently costs lot (was a gift). They do not even have any online resources to refer to! Might as well take your money and throw it into the street!

This is, by far, the worst photo program I've ever used. It routinely crashes in the middle of whatever you're doing and it is the exact opposite of user friendly. I can't believe they're allowed to charge money for this program. And don't bother to try and contact them because they will not respond.

I have used the previous versions of this product with no problems. Got the latest update to version 5 and nothing but problems with it. Every time I create a graphic using their pre arranges graphic like flame or clouds, the program stops responding and shuts down. Even when I tried to simply remove a background using the eraser, the program shut down. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times. I am using windows 7. Never got any help with their customer support.
