The Ericsson T18s Is A Standard Mobile Phone With

The Ericsson T18s is a standard mobile phone with not many features. I just brought it in Australia for A$30 and haven't had the problem with battery yet. It's a mobile phone, strong signal, it's OK.

Things have moved on but back then it was bril and you couldn't have asked for a better thing. I liked the flip I just loved opening that and it looked all posh but it has aged a heck of a lot.

Had the Ericsson T18s for almost 3 years. Worked excellent all the time, except that i had to change the battery pack, due to extremely short standby time, less then 20 hours. (like 15 EUR cost after 2 years). Beginning to get a contact problem during charging, but as long as you make sure its connected properly, no problem.

Has been dropped several times from a man-height, without any problems. Has all the features that you could possibly need in a cellphone. Brilliant phone!

I Have Used An Ericsson T18s For 10 Months.

I have used an Ericsson T18s for 10 months.

It turns itself off after few seconds to few minutes from being turned on. (Just as other people pointed out on this review page).

The same is happenning on T10s as well. These were brand-new units (not second-hand or demo units) sold in Australia. I am now trying to contact with Ericsson and my service provider.

I liked the feature set of T18s so I rated it highly. Reception has been very good. I like its simple styling although I wished if it was lighter.

However, if a product develops this kind of fundamental problem, especially within the 12-month warranty period, the value for money is simply not there.

Overall, I Think The Ericsson T18s Phone Is Pretty

Overall, i think the Ericsson T18s phone is pretty good although it has been around for a while it's still modern especially flip and ringing tones. I swopped my Nokia 5110 for this one as it is small and handy without fuss. I would recommend this phone and so far have had no problems with it!

I Really Like It As It's A Good, Honest Phone. Unl

I really like it as it's a good, honest phone. Unlike others that try to be trendy accessories it doesn't pretend to be anything other than a phone!

However, it has dated very quickly and doesn't really cut it anymore and can't match even the most basic Nokia. Texting is tricky but bearable. The battery doesn't fit snuggly so the phone switches off by itself sometimes but this is no big deal.

I've had mine 2 years and am about to change to the Sony Z7 - same style phone but 21st century technology. Sorry T18 - you're too old to keep up!

Sorry For Not Giving More Info On The T18, Only Th

Sorry for not giving more info on the T18, only thing i will say is.......does your T18 turn off by itself? sent it back to Ericsson? had a replacement but that did the same thing? well do you wanna know why? its simple!...i recently bought a second user T18 and it turned of by itself within 30secs!!!and it only took me 10secs to realise why! its all down to the battery moving slightly! if in doubt just fold some paper etc underneath the battery so its a tight fit! then bobs ya uncle (who is this bob? aint my uncle! must be user friendly!)

Yer, also agree. Blutac also does the job nicely. Apart from that, this phone is very good. Just brought all singing all dancing Sony cmd-Z7, and yes it's good, but have had a few problems. I think the poor Ericson T18 has had it's day, unfortunately, cos mine lasting. Still got some 'old school' style i think. Best feature--very clear when you had a voicemail or Text message.

Totally agree with this review. I've had 5 over the last 12 months because of the phone turning itself off and the LCD blanking out. Thank god for Orange care!!! The biggest pile of pants I've ever used to communicate with!!

The reason why your phone keeps turning itself off is your battery contacts are dirty or worn. Get an eraser and gently clean the gold contacts and your problem should be solved.

I Borrowed An Ericsson T18 From Work Because I Was

I borrowed an Ericsson T18 from work because i was annoyed with my trium mars hanging all of the time.

Fairly good phone, looked quite cool.

Buttons hard to press, made texting a pain.

I liked it till it started to turn itself off for no reason, this is something i know some friends have had problems with, with ericsson phones in general.

Wouldn't buy an ericsson at all :(

I'm going to give it 3 out of ten for being less stable than my trium!!!!
