I'm Pretty Happy With My Cookie. I Use It Mostly F

I'm pretty happy with my Cookie. I use it mostly for texts and I like that I can chose between a keypad, a querty keyboard and a handwriting screen. The music sound quality is fine when used with decent headphones, although you have to use an adaptor which isn't a very secure fit. Internet is a bit slow and frustating but okay for checking your Facebook or webmail. There are plenty of aftermarket accessories for the phone, especially attractive cases. The main drawback for me is the battery life; only a couple of days between charges. Overall, the phone is user-friendly and the build seems quite robust. My 13-year old has a Cookie which has survived a few adventures. Just don't go away for the weekend and forget your charger!

Got My Lg Cookie Kp500 Phone In April 2010 As A Lo

Got my LG COOKIE KP500 phone in April 2010 as a long awaited birthday gift. Was initally very pleased with the phone but then problems arose like: kept switching on/off when it wasn't supposed to, problems with the phone freezing when texting, etc. HOWEVER the biggest setback was 7 months after having the phone:went to switch my phone on in the morning to find that a crack had formed on the inner screen! The phone was kept on an empty shelf in its "sock" overnight and there was no damage to the outer screen!!! Went on the internet and realised that this is a very common event with this phone. LG said that we would have to pay for repairs which were more than the purchase price of the phone!!Phone now unusable!! Will never buy any LG products ever again.

I Brought This Phone As A Birthday Present In July

I brought this phone as a birthday present in July on a contract of 10 pounds a month including 500 texts and 100 minutes i was excited at this bargin contract but things turned sour very quickly! This phone was the worst phone i have owned in my whole life! The quality of the phone was shockingly bad, the battery life lasted at most 6 hours when it had being on charge from 3pm till 7am the following morning. The Lg reception was terrible and on most days i could only get emergency calls from the phone , in the end of my horrific useless ordeal with the phone and service the phone came to a samashed end when a crack with the screen broke the phone completly when i founed Lg all they had to say was 'yeaa there ay reallly much we can do mate this appens alot send ih in and we can fix ihh but you ay got much chance ill talk to mehh boss and get back to you tomorra!' i never got a reply and was horrified by the service on the phone lines

+ Relatively Cheap + Nice Touch Screen (but I

+ relatively cheap

+ nice touch screen (but it usually does not auto-rotate to landscape/portrait)

- frequently freezes & switches off (I missed several appointments before realizing I cant trust it)

- slow; very poor multitasking

- has 1 socket for charging, data transfer and headphones (cant use standard headphones, have to buy from LG) it's the worst socket I've ever seen: it's too small & too delicate, VERY quickly gets loose, all other owners I know ,except one, have same problem, it cost almost the price of the new phone to replace it

to sum up: not recommended

I Had My Lg Since About 4th March 2010. It Is

I had my LG since about 4th March 2010.

It is a really simple phone and it is easy to use!

The Internet is slow, but i won't complain because some phones don't have Internet.

If you want to transfer some music etc from your computer to your phone it is fast and easy.

In my opinion LG cookie is a great phone :)

If any of you are thinking about buying it, go ahead and buy it, it's a great phone! :) <3

This Is One Of The Best Designed Phones That I Hav

This is one of the best designed phones that i have ever owned. As in it does what it needs to do perfectly to sell, then as soon as you can no longer return it because you don't like it, it starts doing little things just to bug you.

Once you get used to it the text features become too slow, meaning it cant keep up with your typing, so it will loose half a word from time to time, and will delete half the word if you pause while typing for only a second. I am now needing to get a knew phone, as the little things about it just start to drive you crazy after a while.

The touch screen just isn't responsive enough, which leads to masses of problems. The web browser is slow to say the least. I once challenged a mate to find a page on a site, and he found the page before i even reached google.

little things will break after a while. i needed to get a new battery after 3 months, as the contacts were from time to time loosing contact, and the phone would randomly switch off. Then, after another month or so, the SIM card slot from time to time would break, claiming there was no SIM in, so i would have to turn off the phone, pop out the battery and remove the SIM.

I presume the majority of these reviews were written pretty soon after the user received the phone

so, in summary, it is a cheep introduction to touchscreen phones, though i would MASSIVELY reccomend that you pay a bit more for a better phone first time round, as you will indoubtabley need to buy a new phone after 6 months of this one.

The Lg Cookie Kp500 Is A Thin Easy To Use Mobile P

The LG Cookie KP500 is a thin easy to use mobile phone, with a stylish screen ready for any situation.

Although the Cookie looks fine, I didn't like the battery life. It ran out easily and wasn't all that good. Also the messaging - typing was extremely slow and the predictive text sometimes wasn't always right. I did like however the easy user face, it had a simple menu which made it clear as to where the different applications we're.

When I bought the LG I was overly satisfied, however it went out of style very quickly and is now not very well known, however for its price its worth buying for children around the age 8-11.

I think the LG Cookie is a reasonable price, and although their is now the' Cookie Fresh' its a good buy for people who want an easy to use phone for the usual commands. For example texting and calling. Although it wasn't really my type of phone, it could very well be the perfect phone for other people.
