This Is The Worst Phone I Have Ever Owned. The Tou
this is the worst phone I have ever owned. the touchscreen is unresponsive to your fingers and the phone does not come with a pen or an alternative way to operate the screen. the phone has frozen continuosly since a few months after I got it and the screen is impossible to see in sunlight. ocasionaly the touchscreen stops working altogether an goes a grey/brown colour making it even harder to operate. the qwerty keyboard is absolutly terrible and the keys are too close together therefore I often misstype words.the phone needs to be recharged daily and last for under 12 hours now it is older. as the phone has become older the two cameras have broken and it needs recalibrating daily, not that it has much of an effect on the touchpad sensitivity.
In one sentence: if you are thinking of buyinh this phone DONT!

Good Phone. I Bought From Dialaphone Unlocked. Bit
good phone. i bought from dialaphone unlocked. bit disappointed that there were no heaphones or usb. camera is ok but zooming in can sacrifice the image quality. video camera is excellent though, as even a £200 sony ericsson w995 will have half the resolution. just left to try is the mp3 player. quite responsive the touchscreen is but a bit weak. build quality is a bit weak though. reception is extremely good though.

If The Battery Lasted More Than Four Hours The Lg
If the battery lasted more than four hours the LG Viewty might be a good phone but as it is, it's absolute rubbish. I bought a slip case to protect the screen and every time I take it out the (admittedly snug) case the cover on the camera side falls off. I used it without the case and the first time I put it in my pocket a coin scratched the screen. I read all the reviews about poor battery life and people saying they had just put it in a drawer and I thought why don't they use the warranty? I bought mine at Tescos and finally lost all patience with it when the battery failed during an important call, no warning just blank. I took it back to Tescos who pointed out as I'd had it for over 28 days (2 months!)they would not honour the 12 month warranty. So, like so many others, I have £100 of junk sitting in a drawer and am using my 4 year old Motorola again.

I Thought This Phone Was Good, Because It Has A 5
I thought this phone was good, because it has a 5 mexapixel camera. The camera is always very clear, with a good flash and excellent facilities for editing pictures. The battery life lets it down a lot, I find that I have to charge it for over 12 hours just for it to last a six hour day! I like the fact that it has a quick and fast internet connection and that the screen is very precise and easy to use. I also like the large icons on the desktop, and how sturdy the phone is, I have dropped it many times and it hasn't had so much as a chip on it! I like the vast memory, as it lets you store over 10 pictures and the fast bluetooth connection.

I've Had This Phone Less Than 48 Hours And I've To
I've had this phone less than 48 hours and i've tolly fallen for it. The only dowside is that since the viewty was brought out in 07, the touch sensitvity lacks what these new mobiles today, however it is still high;y responsive. I did have a LG Cookie, but now have switched to a LG Viewty lite and it looks much bettee, the camera is far better and the specs are better aswell. Pretty well done since this phone is older then most today and it STILL out does all these phones. Fantastic mobile it really is!

The Viewty Is Fantastic. For A Phone That Is 18 Mo
the viewty is FANTASTIC. For a phone that is 18 months old the way it keeps up with the latest phones is incredible. the only features missing from the Viewty to bring it in line with the LG Arena are wifi and GPS and to think that you can buy with phone brand new for £59.99 compared to the Arenas £250-300. At times the phone can feel quite dated, but still VERY good, mainly in the way of UI (slow but REALLY reliable user interface) and connectivity (no infrared or wifi)but there is no other phone that can even match its features for that price. It has many great features such as a 5mp camera with stunning Schnieder Kresuchy lenses. Texting is very easy, and you can select from handwriting recognition on screen or in a box and a virtual key pad or most impressively a virtual QWERTY keypad (like a computer keypad) that is as easy to use as a Blackberry. It has room for a 2gb micro SD card and has loud speakers for those looking to blast music at a high quality. LG so far has been very slow on releasing new firmware and has not made many apps for the viewty BUT there are many owners sites (as this phone is very popular 18 months on and people are still buying it) that offer good applications. The T-Mobile network was not very helpful and i would recommend not using this network as many numbers were barred and it was a very slow 8 hour NON STOP process (as T-Mobile were no help) to get it working and my friends who all have their Viewtys on different networks have experienced non of these problems and said their networks were very helpful with problems. All in all it is a really good phone and i would recommend it.

I Initially Bought The Lg Viewty-lite (from Tesco)
I initially bought the LG Viewty-lite (from Tesco) as a replacement for my old Viewty, and at first I thought it was great. The touch screen was even better than before (you now really don't need the stylus) and the handset's software is improved.
But the drawback is that the old LG software on my pc doesn't support the new phone. And there's no cd in the box. (And there's no lead either, so if you don't already have one you need to buy one) I downloaded the latest PC suite software from the LG site, but still the message saying the lite handset isn't supported kept appearing. Two calls to LG provided no real help. And the Tesco technical support told me he had the same phone, and couldn't download photos either! So I returned the phone for a refund and then phoned LG to berate them; but this time I spoke to someone who knew the phone, and they explained a particular way of downloading the LG software, which should work with the lite. And I'm also informed that if you buy an SD card you can (using the menu under the cog icon) change the phone into a 'mass storage device' and let you pc read it as if it's a new hard drive. So I've re-ordered the phone from 'Additions' (£10 cheaper) as Tesco has now sold out, and am keeping my fingers crossed.
