I Was So Excited To Have The Phone And I've Got It

I was so excited to have the phone and i've got it in a very cheap price. I really got no problem with the unit until after a year of using it. LCD collapsed and i have a very different time to look for it's replacement. When I have it replaced just this month (after almost eight months of searching), I was so happy that it went on again. But I was so surprised that the phone no longer receive text messages. I tried using another sim card and it also didn't received the message. I tried using another phone and it received the message I previously sent to the same sim using V2088. I checked other features and found out that those also don't work like color tag and clearing timers. Some technicians believe that it needs software upgrade.

No Calculator, No Alarm, When We Want To See Sms,

No calculator, no alarm, when we want to see sms, we cannot see the name of sender we only see the number of sender.

But you can change your front casing easily.

Easy to use.

For new to use handphone...it's a good handphone.

But too bad, because I don't have this mobile phone any more because broken and unfixed.

I Was Stoked To Get My New Phone Just Over A Year

I was stoked to get my new phone just over a year ago, and found it quite adequate for everyday use. It was lightweight, had great features and seemed all good at the time. After several months several problems became apparent. Whenever the battery ran flat, it wouldnt run totally flat and therefore you have a problem. As we all know, if a rechargable battery isnt run completely flat it does strange things. The phone would report having "Low Battery" only hours after being charged, then it would switch it's self off for a few days intermittently then run like normal for a few more days until you'd get the real "Low Battery" warning. This worsened until I had the forsight to drain the battery completely. I wont go into how I did that but I can be done with a minimum of hassle. Then one day, out of the blue, the phone wouldnt turn on at all. Gee, amazing that... Warranty is for 12 months, phone dies in just under 13 months. Now I'm stuck with a phone that doesnt work paying for a contract I cant make any use of, because Motorola and the dealer wont have anything to do with it. Apart from that, the phone itself is flimsy, I wouldnt never use it out of a leather case, because it would break if even sneezed on. Not an impressive phone. Bad customer support and a tonne of other hassles made this phone a big hassle.

Phobia.

Please note: This phone uses Lithium Ion Batteries. These batteries to dont have to be completly flattened before recharging. Ive had the same phone for 2 years, and have never had a problem with it. I think you got a dud.

Used the Motorola V.2088 for two months. It is targeted at

the youth market, same as the Nokia 3210. The V.2088 is very good

value for money. It is lighter and smaller than the 3210

(the 3210 has weird weight distribution).

Has vibration call, colour coded phone book, dual band, good

reception and sound quality. Only gripes I have against it

is that it looks like a kid's toy (some of the clip-on

faceplates are too colourful, and don't match the phone),

ringtones can not be edited, battery life is decent but not

as good as the 3210, and no alarm clock. Also make sure you

get warranty with the phone, as I have heard of cases where

the phone turns itself off automatically (although its quite

rare, I was lucky enough not to get one of these defective

phones).

But if these deficiencies don't bother you, definitely go

for the V.2088!
