I've Had My Motorola V600 For Over Two Years Now I
I've had my Motorola V600 for over two years now I think, and so far I've not had any problems with it at all. It is easy to use and reliable, has never switched itself off - despite being on 24/7 and having been dropped quite a few times, once on a hard concrete floor. It got a small crack down the front but still works perfectly!
Writing, sending and receiving text messages couldn't be simpler and I can store around 80 sms messages in my inbox before it is nearly full (one of the reasons why I replaced my Samsug A800). It has travelled around the world with me and always finds a network as soon as it is turned on at the airport, thanks to the quadband.
The bad points: The profile button is on the side and is too easily reset, by just sitting in my bag or pocket. Very annoying.
There is no way I can go back and view/change information I've stored in the calendar.
The front scratches quite easily, I've also manged to scratch the keypad as well.
The charger broke a couple of months ago, but will work if it's plugged into a desktop charger so that's what I have to use to charge my phone now. Quite annoying if I'm travelling.
As much as I love this phone I do want to point out that my first phone, a Nokia 3310 is still, after over 5 years, going strong without any problems at all, and so is my Samsung A800 and neither of those have similar faults or the scratches the V600 has despite being older. Even their chargers work perfectly.
My next phone will not be a Motorola.

The Motorola V600 Mobile Phone Is The Third Phone
The Motorola V600 mobile phone is the third phone I have owned, and I would definitely say it is the best! It had always worked perfectly for me, and I have never had any problems. The games are fantastic, and the pictures taken by the digital camera are really clear. I love this phone!
The only bad thing is that there is not a video recorder, but apart from that it is brilliant! The value for money was really good. I got this phone off eBay for £36, and it was in perfect condition when I got it and still is. I would recommend this phone to anyone!

Whether It Was Just A Problem With My Motorola V60
Whether it was just a problem with my Motorola V600 mobile phone or all of them, I don't know, but my phone jumped from silent to loud, to vibrate to soft when it felt like it, and sometimes it would refuse to return to how I wanted it. It would turn off and on without me having to do anything to it, and this I found extremely inconvenient.

The Motorola V600 Phone Looks Good, And Has A Slee
The Motorola V600 phone looks good, and has a sleek "quality" look with it. But, it is riddled with problems. My screen switches on and off of its own accord and sometimes the phone just switches itself off! It often wont send text messages and occasionally wont recieve them either-or it will have a long time delay. It allegedly has an mp3 player but as far as I have worked out it doesnt exist.
The software which the phone came with is appauling and is just an advert for Motorola.
The buttons on the outside of the phone constantly switch the camera on and off which wastes battery life too.
A disappointing phone.

Ok, I've Had The Motorola V600 Phone For About 18
Ok, I've had the Motorola V600 phone for about 18 months.
I just don't understand why Motorola doesn't take notice of what the opposition is doing. The Nokia phone book is way better, the Samsung alarms and ring tones are superior so where does that leave Motorola. A distant 3rd or 4th.
Anyway, the phone has worked for me, but I seriously doubt I'll be buying another Motorola unless I can physically see the features on the phone. Brochures are so misleading.

Where Do I Start? Ive Tolerated The Mot
Where do I start?
Ive tolerated the Motorola V600 for about a year now but now I'm getting a Nokia 6230i.
The design is fairly nice and the phone is well built however it scratches very easily and I have had nothing but problems with it.
To be fair the phone has some nice applications such as a datebook, but lets face it most phones have similar stuff built in.
My first gripe is that text messages do not send at random, which is really annoying. The only way to get round it is to forward the text into a new message and resend it. Also the predictive text is pathetic and it never seems to remember what you have previously put in. You can only store 10 inbox messages at a time and you are constantly deleting old ones (Which I have just done as I type this.)
The texting thing I can just about stand, but there are buttons on the outside which change your ringtone profile! I was in a meeting at work, put my phone on silent and obviously I caught the buttons in my pocket (maybe on my keys) and all of a sudden Airwolf was blasting out on loud in all its glory... Very embarrassing! And very poorly designed.
Battery can last anything up to 24 hours... if you are lucky...
The menus are just totally illogical and it seems to take forever to get to where you want and sometimes its nigh on impossible to find anything.
Bluetooth is terrible and never seems to work
The phone also has a habit of randomly resetting itself, whether you are in the middle of a call, or text, it just has a mind of its own.
The reception is really bad and sometimes you cannot hear what the other person is saying. I had this problem for about a month then a few weeks ago the speaker has just given up totally, now I can only text people on it, Thanks Motorola.
Give me a Nokia anyday.
Total tripe, Avoid!

Both Me And My Girlfriend Got The Motorola V600 Mo
Both me and my girlfriend got the Motorola V600 mobile phone at the same time. Both are now not working properly.
With hers, it's the front screen that has a mind of its own - sometimes blank, sometimes fuzzy, but resets (for a short while) when you take the battery out. Mine has just given up with text. If I try to write a text message, or enter someones name in the phone book, the phone freezes then crashes and reboots. Joy!
And why do I get no reception in places where my mate with the 200 year old Nokia does? That can't be right.
I did get this phone thinking "wow, that's a lot of phone for the money", and of course I should have known better. It looks like the follow up models, V620 & V635 are more reliable, but whilst being a big fan of the Motorola's looks, we are now thinking about a Nokia (Nooooo!). We are pay as you go users, and this is just too much money to be spending on something so unreliable.

At First I Liked The Motorola V600 Mobile Phone, B
At first I liked the Motorola V600 mobile phone, but the first thing I noticed was that it got quieter and quieter until I couldn't hear anything, and at the moment I have to talk to people on the loudspeaker!
The flip stopped working, and the phone constantly thought it was open. My personal biggest hate is, at random times text messages just won't send for no apparent reason.
After this, I'm never getting another Motorola! It's Samsung all the way for me...

I've Had My Phone For A Couple Of Months Now, And
I've had my phone for a couple of months now, and everything that can go wrong with it has!! It doesn't send or receive text messages anymore, it only receives phone calls when it chooses to, and making a phone call is out of the question. The front screen flashes between the time and company when it is meant to stay the same. The back is flimsy and falls off constantly. The battery needs hours of charging for it to work for only a few minutes!! In the outbox, there are even a few texts I have never sent!! I've never been able to send picture messages, use the internet, or use the so called Caller ID feature. The camera quality started off being quite good, but now even that doesn't work. I would not recommend this phone to anyone! The games are good, but everything else lacks.
