All round brilliant! So what if it's not as good as others?

Do not buy it!

I had this phone for 2 years and my Nokia 3220 has been giving me trouble!

At first I didn't care, but then it got on my nerves!

when I try to switch it on, nothing appears! this always happens!

plus it doesn't have good quality of camera, too blurry!

Also it keeps saying my gallery was full... which I had to delete all my stuff!

this phone is not worth it!

This is my 6th Nokia phone that I've used, among them this is my second of the colored ones, and my very first with a camera, so I am pretty much excited when I bought it for a not very expensive price (about $100 in U.S. currency). The camera is quite good like the others had at the same price level, all you need is just a steady hand because it took a while to capture images and the video mode lets you record up to a maximum of 50 seconds, that was another good point and last but not the least is the flashing lights at its side which is pretty cool in terms of uniqueness.

After a few months of enjoyment, the bad points then came one by one. First is its very low memory, I had to delete all the contents of my gallery and leave only those which are important to make space for new images and videos. Then of course there are some images and videos that you wouldn't like to delete so I have to transfer them to a PC or some other else's phone, there goes another bad point, no connectivity (Bluetooth or infra-red), when I bought this phone I never thought that connectivity is a must and I only think of those as unnecessary extra features but then I realized I was wrong.

Luckily for me I was able to buy a connectivity cable (CA-42) for the 3220 and was able to save my precious moments with my friends and loved ones.

Last of all is the rubber grips that cover the flashing lights, it is not made of a single solid mold but instead it is composed of two parts, the upper is the rubber itself and underneath it is a hard plastic hook which connects it to the phone, because of that it wears out easily and will eventually the rubber part will peel off from the plastic part. it could have been better if the entire grip is made of plastic. I estimated that each set of grips will last about three months before wearing out, after then you will have to buy a new set, and they are not cheap, so that's what's annoying me...

so to end my review, all in all this is a good phone, its looks and just right at its price. But if you're looking more at features and function rather than appearance and likes a phone that will look good even after years of use then this phone is not for you.

Glad to see the back of this after a year. The Nokia 3220 is only worth it if you get it free, and I'm surprised at Nokia producing such a dud. Has: quirky ring-tones, poor design, problem with icons which Orange tried to fix three times and failed and a small screen.

Well, I really like this Nokia 3220 phone. It's really cool but this is the first camera phone I have bought and I must say all that saving and the camera isn't very good. Pretty fuzzy and blurry, even the night mode is no good. I also found that with around 10 pictures and 3 videos, it told me my memory was full and I had to delete items from my gallery. I had no downloaded ring tones, and the videos weren't very long. This is a let down but overall it is a very stylish and handy phone! Does the job!

I hate anything and everything about this phone! I bought it with my birthday money for £90 last year. £90 was way too much for this phone! The main bad points are ~ No bluetooth, no radio, and no memory! I would not recommend this phone to anyone! All that attracted me to this phone were the flashing lights on the side...but after a few weeks you realise they flash at almost everything you do! I HATE this phone! :( :( :(

I'm an eleven year old girl, and for it me this was a great phone! It was light, and fitted in my pockets nicely. I was able to download some extra games really quickly, it can record 50 seconds of video, compared to my friend's phone which could only record 11 seconds.

This phone is really good, and I would recommend it to people definitely.

After very boring black and white phones (8850, 3310, 7110, C55) I decided on a colour phone, so in December 2004, I decided to buy a Nokia 3220.

For over a year, it has satisfied me, the camera and video are fair, the light effects are fantastic and the covers are easily customisable. The colour display is vibrant and the phone is perfect.

However there are some downsides. The lights all have rubber covers which are easily damaged, which has been ruined when I put it in my jeans pockets. Also the games Dance Delight and some spider fighter game went wrong and malfunctioned, so I had to delete them.

Even though the phone has some downsides, it is a good phone, but now I want to upgrade, but this phone is perfectly good and I would recommend it!

The Nokia 3220 is a great mobile phone for the price, with an adequate camera and good features. The side lights are excellent (my 6 year old son loves it), and it's a nice light little phone that sits lovely in your hand. I would recommend it to all.
