Had for 18 months and has endured a hard life. My 3 year old son can use it to find games and send texts so cannot be that hard. Tough. has been dropped countless times and still works.

Chose This Phone As An Upgrade, Due To A Love Of N
Chose this phone as an upgrade, due to a love of Nokias and the number of features this phone had. The slide is nice, and the phone looks good; changeable covers are useful as I am prone to dropping my phone. The music player sounds good with the supplied headset, damn the pop-port connection though as it gets worn out so easily! Got to say this is the most love-hate relationship I've ever had with a Nokia!
From new this phone was in the habit of randomly restarting itself; it was returned to Vodafone 4 times until the problem was finally cured, and I knew someone else who had the same problem with their 6280. However to be fair, apart from that fault the phone was reliable, and stood up to a lot of abuse, being dropped a number of times over the 16 months I owned it. It now works perfectly, as Vodafone finally got their act together, decided what was wrong and had it fixed.
Battery life I found was only a few days, but this is probably largely due to the big, clear display, and worth the tradeoff in my opinion. If you manage to get one that isn't faulty, this is a great good, maybe great phone, but a lot of people seem to have had major problems, as well as the more minor niggles such as the fault I had.
Complete Waste Of Time As A Phone. Very Disappoint
Complete waste of time as a phone. Very disappointed. My old Nokia 6310i still has battery life after1 week if on standby!!!! Why have nokia not recalled this product or offered clients a free upgrade. I will not order a Nokia again.

The Nokia 6280 Really Put Me Off Nokia Mobile Phon
The Nokia 6280 really put me off Nokia mobile phones. Back to Samsung for me I think! It has an awful battery life, almost to the point where it made the phone pointless. Very flimsy build quality, and the screen was scratched badly after only a week in my pocket. The charger for the phone is as poor quality as the phone itself. Bought two replacements before buying a multi charger from Tesco.

I Am At The Very End Of A Long Tether With This Ph
I am at the very end of a long tether with this phone, to the point I rang 3 today and asked how much to buy another 3 compatible phone from them to continue my contract so I don't have to endure any more time and effort with this. In the end I have opted to purchase one from Ebay as the cheapest 3 could offer me was a reconditioned at £99.99! What can I say AVOID this phone. I swore by Nokia, thought they were the best phones around as I have tried other makes in the past and never been as satisfied. But I am sad to say Nokia has let themselves down with this little creation. The signal is rubbish, it goes to zilch then back to full all the time. (almost always been at zilch when you need it). I have continuous registration failure where it asks for a unlock code. The memory card flap is very flimsy and never closed properly only this past week completely coming off in my hand,(hence not allowing my memory card to work,so cant do anything like take photos, videos any more). BUT the grand finale the phone would start up when switched on and just as it displayed the time it shut itself off! I had to take it to get "flashed" (everything erased and replaced) that cost £15 from the guy on the market. But having done that have lost everything for my 3 contract, so basically all I can do with the phone now is make calls and send SMS. I can't send MMS or do anything I could do before. AVOID THIS PILE OF RUBBISH! You will end up so stressed out.
