Nokia 6700 Classic

The phone has all the features you need and more. I love it, which is why I've stuck with the 6700, despite being on my fourth example in seven months. The fist thing you notice is how sleek and elegant it is...and how heavy; it's rather slippy, so it leaps out of your hand and onto the floor if you're not careful. Reception snd sound quality are the best I've ever experienced. However, each of my four (including the current one) turns itself off at the drop of a hat - you might be locked out for over 24 hours. And it's prone to freezing. You can replace the battery and/or the SIM card to no avail - it's a software bug and I'm amazed that Nokia released this model before dealing with it. For those who live life on the edge.....

Had it 6 weeks and the screen stopped working. T-Mobile reckoned it was cracked, it must have been something internal as there were no marks on the outside. It hadn't been dropped or mistreated in any way, clearly a fault with this (just google it, there's loads of screen problems with this) don't go near this phone. As for T-Mobile, they've lost a 12 year customer, they refused to honour the warrantee.

well the phone works OK and I am happy with it just waiting for my free in car charger.

The Nokia 6700 Classic is a great phone, very stylish and no probs, so far so good. :)

ive always had nokia's no problem but i bought the 6700 classic, 1st one got to hot to handle had to take it back for a replacement after 1 day, 2nd one makes me apparently sound like a robot know one can understand me but its fine when i call out. wait a couple of days for an answer from nokia if no luck then i'll change it for different make. * value 4 money if it works. shame really

Had my Nokia 6700 Classic a month and have had no issues at all, the phone feels great - it's really slim but carries a suprising amount of weight so doesnt feel 'flimsy' - the build quality is very good.

This handset is really stylish - it looks quite basic at first but, in reality, it's packed full of features that should satisfy all bar the most demanding of users.

Reception is fantastic, the camera is high quality and the phone oozes style - overall, another top phone from NOKIA.

The only downsides (and they are very minor) are a battery life which could be slightly better - and the shiny silver keypad and case show fingerprints clearly - dont let these 2 minor points put you off though - up there with the best phone I've ever had!

I had my 1st Nokia 6700 for about 2 weeks and the screen cracked, had my 2nd for about 24 hours and the screen cracked. Had Nokia phones for over 10 years and never had this problem before, got to make me think that there is a design flaw with the 6700. Fearful that the same problem might occur when i need my phone urgently. I am upset because i was really pleased with the 6700 before these things happened
