Nokia 6820

The Nokia 6820 is excellent plenty of space for contacts and the best option is when you pair it with a Nokia 610 car kit. It then locks onto the 6820 sim card and means all contacts and messages are saved on the 6820 and the car kit can remote access it via bluetooth thus keeping everything in one place, it's excellent.

I've now had the Nokia 6820 for over a year & this phone more than meets my requirements, it enables easy texting and answering of e-mail when out & about. Bluetooth facility is excellent, both with usb dongle on the PC & Headset when in the car. Battery life is very good, in fact the only bad point is the terrible camera, but it's a feature I wasn't interested in even when I bought the phone - & still have no requirement for one. If I want a photo, I'll use a proper digital camera !!!

Had the mobile for a few months, great looking phone and the flip pad works great, really really handy emailing and texting. Screen a bit shaky though, can be grey in some lights. Camera is to be honest not good, yet didn't but it for that, might laugh but the best camera phone is the NEC313 3G phone, big yet bloody good camera.

I have had a 6820 since the first day it came out all over money well spent I keep reading the diffrent reviews but 9 months plus down the line and I still can't find the so called bluetooth and would be great if you could tell me were it was. Would I recommend the phone? Yes, every time.

I had the Nokia 6820 (RIM) offered to me as an upgrade. I used it for about a 3 days and I gave it back. The phone has a brilliant design and is easy to use but the reason I gave it back was because it lacks on some features e.g. Mp3 player and radio. Also the quality of some of the features is close to appalling like the camera and the colour screen. There is only about 3.5mb of memory on the whole phone with no expansion slot for extra memory limiting the use of some audio files and images.

The Nokia 6820 phones gets a 10/10 for outstanding looks. Being a teenager this is an awesome phone, my freinds think it's wicked. I was attracted to it with the unique flip keypad. But being a skateboarder this isn't an ideal phone and am slightly reluctant to take phone out with me to go skating. When playing games the buttons go sligthly unreactive. It has a large amount of memory which is always good. Fantastic for texting and emailing. After a month the casing started to squeak. I got the phone for quite a cheap price because St. Marten is a duty free country, but otherwise it is a relatively pricey phone. All in all the Nokia 6820 is a unique and useful mobile phone.

Nokia 6820 - I am in the position being able to try out a lot of mobile phones before buying. Have tried Sony Ericsson k700, T610, T630, etc., but none of these can compete with the reseption qualities of the Nokia 6820, and being able to talk and listen I suppose are the main purposes of a phone?? Or am I wrong...?? But no phones can compete with the Nokia 6310i, and it is no longer in production: Why kill a winning horse?

All I can say is what a phone. The Nokia 6820 is the most stylish serious phone / mobile messaging device to have hit the market. The best feature by far is the QWERTY keyboard. It can be used for both business & pleasure, also the Blackberry compatability is excellent. Who wants to lump around a blackberry & a mobile phone when you can have it all in one, & it looks so damn fine. You can really show off with this phone. Many people are boasting that their new Siemens, Sagem, Sony etc is good, wait till you pull this out the bag. It's truly a trump card, nothing comes near this. A lot of people are moaning about quality of picture, fair enough, it's not the best thing I've seen, but it's also not the worst! After all, it's only a phone, not a laptop!

Although the Nokia 6820 does have many fantastic features it is let down badly by the very poor picture quality and the joystick is a real hinderence.

Texting on the QWERTY pad is ok but having to clear it back after your finished texting is niggle!

The reception is poor, I upgraded from 7250i and it was a shockingly bad idea as I never had a single problem, EVER, with the reception but this phone loses signal with easy abandon, both here and Europe.

The joystick keeps failing and has been set back to Nokia twice so far........did I mention I have only had the phone 2 months?!?

I love the Nokia 6820, it has everything you can need. The screen isn't great but the phone makes up for that in other places. It has a Brilliant design, Looks are wonderful, Games and Bluetooth are handy. Get it!!
