It works well for my purpose. I can send emails and also use the facility of the bluetooth feature.

What does one do when their phone is not included in the list of blackberries in Garmin nuvi. Is there a software one can buy to upload into nuvi... Well recommend this mobile phone Nokia 8310.

I Bought My Nokia 8310 Second Hand 2 Years Ago And

I bought my Nokia 8310 second hand 2 years ago and it has been great! Small size makes it easy to slip in your pocket, has alarm clock with snooze, voice recorder and stop clock (and other functions I've never used like the radio and WAP).

I've read some of the other reviews about noise and turning itself off. I've never had the noise but about 2 months ago it did start re-booting itself. However, considering this phone is about 3 years old and had been fine up till then, I think that's pretty good, and even now it doesn't happen very often.

I previously had a Nokia nk402 which I also had for a couple of years and was great - I only replaced it because of the size. However, despite the 8310 having more features, the nk402 performs better on being able to edit texts quickly, stores the date and time of texts received and sent, and when texts are received goes straight to the inbox menu so you can see who the texts from before reading it whereas the 8310 goes straight into reading the texts. These are only minor fiddly bits though which probably wouldn't bother many.

I would intend on keeping the 8310 a lot longer - the only reason I'm thinking of changing it is because over the last few months I've been get a burning behind my ear after using the phone and so have decided for safety sake to get a phone with loudspeaker and bluetooth.

For anyone thinking of buying a fairly basic phone (without camera, colour screen or polophonic tones) this is good as it's easy to use and a fantastic size. Anyone wanting a bit more oomph with modern gadgets may find this a bit outdated though.

The Nokia 8310 Is The Best Phone I Have Had 4 Year

The Nokia 8310 is the best phone I have had 4 years now I have had it paid an arm and a leg for it £299 but it was worth it 4 years hassle free brilliant battery life. I have made calls and sent text and it is still on full battery after 5 days with the 400 hour battery in it, one word for it, amazing.

Can't fault the 8310 yet. Not had it long but I'm pleased with it. I have recently got rid off a Nokia 6820 and I prefer the 8310.

It's got a good radio, messaging key board, and excellent blue light.

Had A Nokia 8310 For A Year And A Half And All Was

Had a Nokia 8310 for a year and a half and all was fine until not long ago when it would switch itself off, unlock without me touching it and send texts when I was halfway through writing them.

Nokia 8310 - A Nice Phone To Hold, But A Bad Phone

Nokia 8310 - A nice phone to hold, but a bad phone to use. The software is very unstable and hangs often. It also switches off by itself all the time even after the phone was sent back to Nokia for repairs about 3 times. The calender function is also not as good as the 6510's. Some functions are not even on par to the 6510 even though it's more expensive than the 8310 and under the same category. Not a good phone to buy.

I Had The Nokia 8310 For About 12 Months, And At F

I had the Nokia 8310 for about 12 months, and at first it was the best phone I had owned so far. But from 6 months onwards it was always rejecting the sim card, re-booting itself (switching off and turning back on) and I had never dropped it at all. A lot of my friends owned this phone at the time and many had the same problems. On the good side, it had a radio, a blue screen (or red) which made a change from the boring green. It looked great and the best thing for me was the memory capacity to store text messages. However, by the end of 12 months when I upgraded, I couldn't wait to get rid of it.

Both I And My Wife Have Owned Nokia 8310s For Ove

Both I and my wife have owned Nokia 8310s for over a year. Faults include:

Random rebooting

Sporadic loss of connection to SIM card

On/off button disintegrates.

Yes we have sent many texts and talked/surfed a lot on these phones but neither lasted more than 1 year without developing the faults above.
