Over All I Love This Nokia 8860 Mobile Phone. Time

Over all I love this Nokia 8860 mobile phone. Timeless like a fine watch or pen. And, as long as you take care of it, it will last. It is currently discontinued and is a limited edition.

This Is A Cool Mobile Phone With All Sorts Of Feat

This is a cool mobile phone with all sorts of features you will never really need. For those who are multi-lingual you have the option of changing it from English to Chinese or even Spanish.

It's also a pretty tough phone in that the sliding panel which is the large moving part of the phone has not gotten weak and snapped off or jammed. Frankly I expected it to have broken by now, but it's holding on strong as I head into my third year with it. I've even dropped it once or twice and it's still going.

My big qualm with this phone is the weak battery life. I think Nokia figured that one out early which is why they included the extra battery. But the battery will last for a max of an hour and fifteen minutes when you're talking. If I dont use it at all then it will last for a good 2 or 3 days.

Another problem is that the phone gets REALLY hot. I dont know if it's the radiation lighting up my ear, brain, and head or maybe it's just the heat generated by the phone and its backlight, but it gets notably hot where the speaker is located if you speak for a good hour or so on it.

Cleaning is also essential otherwise it looks weird with all of your greasy fingerprints smeared all over it.

This phone still kicks ass though.

The review is very acurate, I love mine, going on 4 years, have tried other phones in between, (8260,V60, etc)but always come back. Currently using a hybrid, it an 8260 motherboard in an 8860, battery from an 8890 really improves battery life.

I disagree with part of your review. This phone does not kick butt. It really has caused me a lot of problems. I have dropped so many calls, and a majority of the time, I have a hard time making calls. The phone does look cool, but you are better spending your money elsewhere. It does get really hot and the battery doesn't last long. But for the most part, I can't even make calls and the person on the other end can't even hear me. I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone.
