Basic, Poor Phone
I accidentally dropped my old phone in water and bought this Samsung as a replacement due to its advertised tough, water resistant construction. However, apart from this there is little to recommend it. It is on the large size and the functions are not intuitive enough. The user 'handbook' is just one sheet of paper which contains very little information and I didn't know the phone has a torch function until I read about it on the internet. There are annoying shortcut icons on the screen that you cannot remove such as Facebook and Twitter which I will never use. The speaker quality is poor, so to the camera picture quality which is terrible. My biggest gripe however is with the music function which is just plain bad. To transfer music files via a computer, it requires Samsung Kies to be downloaded (free) but this software is simply does not work. It is clunky, slow and not a patch on the Sony or Windows equivilent. As a cheapish, crude phone it's okay but otherwise it's rubbish.
