Great Phone,worth The Money!

I got the Samsung Toco Lite a few months ago as a replacement for my old phone which I had lost. Before hand I never usually used my phone but since I have had this I use my mobile much more now. It is stylish and got a great slim design. The reception quality is really good when having lengthy phone calls. As for battery it could easily last a good few days before it started running out. One thing though that I don't like about this mobile is the fact that it's touch screen can easily unlock if it's in a tight fitting pocket as I have had it calling people while im busy, running my credit down. If the screen get's wet the phone needs to be opened up and then put back on before it starts to work again and that's only with a few rain drops. Overall it is a average phone much worth the money I paid for and I would recommended it to friends and family.

There Are Some Things I Really Like About This Pho

There are some things I really like about this phone but mostly it has been a nightmare. its touch screen either picks everything your trying to scroll across or nothing at all. I have yet to find the windows 7 driver as the disc with it is upto XP. The camera is ok, but not that impressed. I only gave a low score for value for money as whatever you pay you'd expect it to work and have upto date software. Other than that could be a really nice phone. Have yet to work out (if you can) how to make a call and get the number pad to stay on to choose options i.e. "press one for biling" and dispite phone lock switches on in my pocket. !!!

Me And My Work Colleagues Started Having An Argume

Me and my work colleagues started having an argument over the Tocco Lite today, provoking me to write this review... they described it as a "cheap copycat iPhone" which in all fairness is partly true in the cosmetic nature of it, but when I was looking for a new phone I was looking for something with a touch screen that was cheap - and that's exactly what I paid for. £90 at the time and now somewhere around the £45 mark (last time I checked) I think it's a great deal for money.

The touchscreen is a great priveledge I've been waiting for, so easy to use and quicker. Slight annoyance once in a blue moon that there is no & symbol.

The menu is so easy to browse, great colour and clarity on the screen - now and again miss the keys, so may be difficult for those with larger fingers...

I find the widgets utterly useless myself (apart from the create message one and post-it one) but I'm sure gadget wizzes would love it!

I'm on the Tesco PAYG network which I find incredibly convienient - great reception and everytime I top up £15 I get £30 free credit, so a luxury in all! I usually spend this extra credit on the internet browser, which is relatively fast with lots of bookmarking/zooming features. Haven't tried any youtube so couldn't comment on this.

I think the majorly huge downside of this phone is the fact it supports a 3+MP camera, but is clearly worse quality than my previous 2.3MP pixel camera of my Samsung U600 - probably supported by the lack of the flash.

If you're after games then this is also not the phone for you, as if Samsung's idea of a "game" is rolling dice with no purpose.

Battery life is great so far (will fade with age I'm sure) being able to last 4-5 days with each charge.

It gets quite slow from time to time, trying to handle too much like deleting multiple messages can leave you waiting for quite some time!

I find it very simple to use - when I get a new phone I'm going to pass it on to my Grandad as I know he will find the touch keyboard easier than the buttons.

Overall if you're looking for a smart looking easy and advanced phone for a great price you needn't look further. The only noticable let down of this phone is the terrible camera quality.

This Phone Has A Good Appearance. It Damages

This Phone has a good appearance.

It damages easily but overall it is a great phone.

I bought the phone thinking i would be able to upload pictures to facebook directly from my phone, some of my friends had this phone and some of theirs worked some didnt. Mine didnt.

The camera is good.

The ways you can text are great either as a keyboard style (to the side) or a normal phone way (upright)

The samsung tocco lite is a great phone all round,

it has a good camera and is great value for money i brought this phone when it came out and was amazed at the features was very modern.

The battery life was good from my point of view i use my phone alot so i charge them every other night it never ran out on me and it lasted just right amount of time.

Overall would reccomend this phone.

the only little down fall is if you press too many things at once it may freeze so dont rush it while it loads otherwies if you press lots of buttons it may freeze!

Battery Life Is So Bad, It Is Unbelieveable. Has

Battery life is so bad, it is unbelieveable. Has been back (via Carphone Warehouse) for repair .. but only difference was the software was updated. Battery life is still terrible. Nice looking phone, with good features ... but no use if it turns itself off after 24 hours because the battery has died .. even when no calls/texts have been made or received! Have actually stopped taking it out with me, as can;t trust it will work. Would definitely not recommend it.

Hello I Simply Love This Phone To Bits.

Hello

I simply love this phone to bits.

I have an excellent monthly plan of just £5.00 a month. ( 18 month contract) i thought i would hate a touch screen but this really is the bees knees. i am 37 and not really into gadgets but this is really easy to use the large screen is wonderfully clear. I have purchased more memory for this phone and it trebles up as my music player (MP3) and with a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera it takes some lovely photos. Incredibly easy access to access the internet ( i don't use it for this but thought i would mention it as i have tried it out at least). The widgets on the side bar make everything you need straight at your fingertips. There are some great cases on the market for this phone and i am personally using screen protectors (purchased from a certain auction site) as i am a little heavy handed but i really want to look after this phone and have it for a few years to come. very highly recommended to young and old.. thanks for reading :-)
