I Am Very Happy With The Siemens Mt50, So If-&-whe
I am very happy with the Siemens MT50, so if-&-when it decides to stop working, I will be looking for exactly the same thing to replace it, I already have a camera, an mp3 player, & an alarm clock to wake me up, I DO NOT want a phone that makes coffee

In Spite Of The Bad Points, I Like This Phone Beca
In spite of the bad points, I like this phone because it feels good to hold, the plastic is nice & the screen is attractive. It is also nice to carry around. The most annoying features, are that you have to confirm switch on, or it switches itself off again, and when you have a text message at switch on, you can't just press 'phone' to retrieve it. I don't care about features, as long as I can make phone calls. If only it had the Nokia 3310 software!

This Little Phone Is Ok If You Don't Really Care M
This little phone is OK if you don't really care much, but it DEFINITELY doesn't compare with the slightly more modern phones you can get now. Only buy this one if your on a budget (mine was only about a tenner from some internet site) or if you only want a phone 2 call people with, because it can't do much else!

I Bought This Siemens Mt50 Mobile Phone A While Ag
I bought this Siemens MT50 mobile phone a while ago, in 2002, and had used it for about 12 months before its shoddy keypad got the better of my nerves. The phone features a blue backlit black and white screen, built in aerial (very handy), caller ID, Java applications installed OTAD (over the air downloadable), programmable soft keys and call wait 'n' hold amongst many other useful features. They are moderately priced nowadays at around £30 on T-Mobile or sim-free. I would like to recommend this handset to others but I fear I would severally mislead. It's a cute handset with a shocking keypad that begs to be redesigned. I would steer clear of this device and opt for the later version e.g. Siemens A50/A55 which are also reasonably priced at around £30.

I Bought The Siemens Mt50 Mobile Phone Because Eve
I bought the Siemens MT50 mobile phone because every one seemed to have nokias so i thought i would be different. I wish i went for nokia sometimes because this phone takes time to load! Also nokia and some other phones are easier to use and have more accesaries and ringtones of course!
I have the mt50 as well and i know what you mean, it does take its time. The good thing is if you are on t-mobile then you can get games for this phone for 1 pound plus connection charges. There are some very good games like bowling, skate and slam and racing games. Its fab. I was just wondering do you know and codes for free text messaging? Thats for a siemens mt50 on t-mobile? If so can you please send them to [email protected]

Had This Phone Nearly 12 Months, And Have Hated It
Had this phone nearly 12 months, and have hated it for the past 11.
Thank god my contract expires in a few weeks, then I can go back to a good old Nokia.
Bad points:
Top two menu buttons are difficult to use.
Buttons aren't always responsive.
Buttons are sometimes too responsive, i.e. press 1 and get 11.
Seimens service is inconvenient. (Yeah I tried to get my phone fixed, but it needed to be sent away. I have a Nokia service centre 10 min away )
Message beep is too quiet so can't be heard when the phone's in your pocket.
Very illogical menu system.
Very illogical sms.
No calculator.
And most annoying of all.... you have to "Confirm to switch on"!! (Well why else would I press the on button?)
I totally agree about the menu system,i found it to be a real pain navigating. Other problems I found with the phone.......often turned itself off for no reason, and screen rubbish for wiewing wap pages(Too small).Other than that,id say its a pretty good lil' mob!:)

I Had This Siemens Mt50 Phone After My Last Phone,
I had this Siemens MT50 phone after my last phone, an ericsson T20, got a little out of date in september last year.
My first impressions on the phone were very good, and i thaught i had a real good quality phone for a very small cost. I was right, too.
It really is a good quality phone only let down by tiny little flaws that are,(i do admit), a little annoying at times.
overall though, a good quality phone, thanks.

I Was Obviously Heartbroken When I Lost My C45 And
I was obviously heartbroken when i lost my C45 and this seemed like an ideal replacement. The price was very competitive compared to the cost of Nokia phones, which i feel have a slightly tacky and overdone feel. The blue screen never fails to impress friends and you feel proud to have it with you. I like the fact you can personalise everything about it and by the way you can get fascias on the siemens website. They even sell them in some shops too and if not they will order them for you. If you don't ask you don't get! I would have absolutely no doubt recommending this phone especially to those of you who carry around those brick Nokia 3310s!

I Have Had A Siemans Mt50 For Over A Month Now And
I have had a Siemans MT50 for over a month now and to be honest, its the worst phone i have come across. It may look stylish but it isn't very user friendly at all. It is difficult to navigate the phone. I previously owned a Nokia 3310 and find that much easier to user. For example, writing a text message would take so long on Siemans and i feel that the service is very slow!!!
I dont think this is very true. The Siemens MT50 is a really good phone once you learn how to use it and I think the text is good because although it might take a little bit longer than the nokias to text it has a sort of spell check. The thing that annoys me though is that I cant seem to find any cases for the phone, I can get a couple from the market but because they are from the market they are very poor quality.
