Dont buy this phone!!! Sony Ericsson do not cre about their customers!!

I bought this phone from carphone warehouse for my partner as a present, he is a surgeon and uses it for work. It switches itself off randomly so when he's oncall no one can reach him putting lives at risk. So far its had a problem where it would not ring, the screen kept freezing and distorting and also the keypad kept sticking. We have sent this phone back 3 times already after having it 10 months, it takes an average of 2-3 weeks to get it back after repair. Carphone warehouse will not replace the handset unless it has had three different problems within 3 months.

When we rang Sony Ericsson they said no-one else had this many problems with the phone therefore they were not interested in the reliablity issues we were having with this handset. Basically tough luck!!!!

Disgusting service!! They of course would replace the phone on my insurance!

I bought this phone because it had good reviews as a reliable phone, i will never buy from carphone warehouse or sony ericsson again.

C510 a very impressive phone with various of good davres and a 3.amp camera.and the 5atest techmlfgy.of smile shutter.and pis worth fvq

i was given this sony ericsson c150 as a present after losing my sonyericsson w580i which i miss

. the software on the phone eg firmware is so bad it crashes a lot or slows down so much . the best thing about the phone is mp3 camera and screen and free msn messager the rest i rather put in the bin . i also unlocked the phone to try on other networks which was a bad news as you can only make calls and text no mms or fast wap nothing . only thing to do was upgrade the software on sony ericsson web site with there tool which still did not fix the probelm . and i sold the phone on . never touch this phone again ever not even for free

Got this phone two days ago and I am pleased to say the Sony Ericsson C510 is a good buy for £109. It's comfortable to handle. Good size screen. The buttons are not the biggest but you can get use to them. I texted and phoned my girlfriend a few times yesterday and today and had no problems so far. Good clear sound for ringing and talking. I haven't try the camera out yet because I have a good digital camera. The talk time appears to be good too cos I haven't even charge it up since I bought it.

Received this as an upgrade to the K800i on a 3 contract, the phone is slim and light, menu is easy to use and compared to the K800i the navigation is quicker even when using an 8Gb memory card.The phone comes with a range of preloaded apps like facebook, youtube, Yell Maps and google maps although without a GPS the maps are a bit approximate.On the Three contract MSN and Skype are free to use which is great for messaging but Skype voice calls rely on a good network coverage and don't always work. A bit disappointing is the camera quality, 3.2pixels were more than enough to get good pictures on the old K800i but now the shutter is really slow which leads generally to blurred pictures. Also the flash is far from good and doesn't compare to the excellent xenon flash installed on the K800i.
