Sony Ericsson W595

I ALWAYS HAD SONY ERICSSON PHONES IN MY LIFE. k800, w910i, k770,w995,w595, w395, c902, c510, w810,k750, i probly had more thats all i can remember having. the phone is good overall. but i always had problems with them like the phone sometimes freezes and the common one was charging connectors issues phone does not charge sometimes then it gets wrost at it stops charging .

Great phone, only problem is that the speakers have broken when you try and answer a call.You can not hear anything unless you turn the phone back to front!! so frustrating.

I have owned this phone for 2 years and have not had a days issue with it, so I am disappointed that it has now chosen to break.

The walk man speakers work great and I love having this function, I have put so much music on the phone.

I can text, take pics, listen to music, just not make calls.

So sadly I will have to look at a new phone.

Has anyone else had this issue, I would love to know if there is an answer without buying a new phone.......

It was my unexpected device which did me embarrassed

i brought this phone originally from the orange shop,i broguht this phone in march 2010,within the first two months this phone broke,after giving me the replacement this phone broke again,both of these were naturally caused.after my third time of getting replacements towards this phone it broke agaim,i took it back to the shop & they sent it back to sony ericsson,still wanting to give me another replacement.i wouldent recomend this phone but its okay for a temporary phone.i liked how much sound & Photo storage this phone had and the quallity of the sound,the camera & the screen.but i still regret buying this phone.i am still waiting for a replacement for this phone again,but would rate it 2 stars out of five.

the w595 is good if you like to listen to music ,and make pictures ,but the downside of it is not strong enough to last more than 1 year ,if you want the pnone to last go to nokia ,they are the best to last .

I had this phone as an upgrade and was initially very pleased with it as it is a great looking mobile but it has now been back to the service centre 5 (five) times. It switches on then freezes, so unable to backup to sim and information and settings are lost everytime. From my experience I cannot recommend this phone as being reliable. Before I received this phone I would liked to have known about the freezing problem.

My wife got her W595 as an upgrade from 3. It has been to Carphone Warehouse once and 3 three times now. Started shutting off randomly, now won't switch on. Has deleted text inbox on receipt of a new text, has deleted loads of photos of our kids. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

As an aside, the customer service from 3 has been utterly shocking as well.

Would have loved to have about these faults before we signed up for this phone. All 3 will offer is a like-for-like replacement. Fingers crossed that the new one will be better, but not expecting much!

I had this W595 to replace my Samsung which developed a fault after six years of constant use. The phone is light and easy to use and has lots of good features especially the MP3 player. The battery life is exceptional. The only negative points are that it could be easier to slide open with one hand and putting a thumb grip at the screen lower edge would help and prevent excessive pressure being put on the screen. The other point is more worrying: it keeps switching itself off. This fault seems to effect Sony Ericsson phones because my son's C902 did exactly the same thing and had to go back for repair. My W595 has only switched off twice but it should not happen at all. My old Samsung never switched itself off and this defect makes me have no confidence in the thing. I need my phone for my business and I could easily miss a call when the phone 'goes to sleep' without me knowing, which is not very professional. This is a nice phone let down by a major fault and therefore I would avoid Sony Ericsson phones'.

Bought Sony Ericsonw595 phone for my 16yr old daughter for christmas 08, by 1st Jan phone was sent back the phone kept freezing, turning itself off, and eventually when we did get it to turn bk on the screen froze. As result the phone was exchanged. The new phone was nothing but trouble as well, 3 times it has been sent back to manufacturer, we've been told new software has been put in to it, after just 1 week phone broke again. At this stage we do not want the same model of phone back it's been repaired 3times and sony ericson/meteor is refusing to exchange the phone or give a credit note for the value of the phone. After numerous phone calls and shop visits we are still been handed back the repaired phone and 20euro credit as a token for our annoyance. I am not letting this incident drop until I get a new model of phone or credit note. Very bad service.

i am teenager and i got my Sony Ericsson W595 for Christmas. i got it from orange in blue. it is perfect for and i would recommend it too anyone has good camera, video call , shake control , and more . its also has a strong case on it so that if you do drop it is not dented. it also perfect for the price and also has long battery life. i could not be more pleased with it.

There are not many faults with it but one small problem is the back can be hard too get off but its just a small problem .

i would totally recommend it ! it also has a great mp3 ! and looks great too.
