I Have A Problem To Use It. I'm Trying To Run
I have a problem to use it.
I'm trying to run it under Win 2000.
The installation was clear and without problems.
Drivers ok. but when i'm trying to run its software to scan appears a message says "connect your scanner or switch it on"and I can't scan..
If somebody knows any solution for my problem please post here, thanks.

Agfa drivers do not support OS winXP or win2k with SP3 or SP4 since the Agfa company has retired from the scanners market.
I guess make an other partition in your hard drive for win98 and run your scanner from there or buy a new scanner, they are cheap now.

The Scanner Takes At Least A Minute To Scan A Pict
The scanner takes at least a minute to scan a picture but the results are good.
Using SCSI is a problem because you need to switch your scanner on before your PC so that the PC recognises it. There is a way round this by refreshing the hardware list in the control panel system settings.
Ive had this for 12 months and cant justify changing it as I have a digital camera too.
I have the Agfa SnapScan 1212P (Parallel Port Version). It is very slow, takes ages to scan a full A4 page. The bundled software is quite good. I highly recommend updating the Agfa software, the new version is much better!
