Flowchart Mentality At It's Worst.

I ordered some printer ink and was asked to review the purchase via the UK Office Direct website. Since the items had not arrived, I asked when the order would arrive. A day or two later, I was advised “Unfortunately as you did not send any additional security information in as requested we have voided your order and refunded the funds back to you”. I don’t recall being asked for “Additional security information” but I was only asking where my order was and I had needed to log in to my account, in order to do so. It sounds very much like flowchart mentality or the ramblings of yet another badly programmed system.

This prompted me to complete the review, in much the same way as above. I was later advised “Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines”. Perhaps only good reviews are accepted. It will be interesting to see whether my further review, which asks “What is the point”, will be “Moderated”.

Lazy

Still waiting for my order after 8 days, been informed twice from customer service that my item it on its way. Waited In the house for 2 days after being told when it would arrive, I'm still waiting, terrible service and slow delivery, I will not be using this company again.

Great Product & Service

Ordered a desk from Direct Offices Supplies and was very happy with both speed of delivery and the product. Ordered late Monday evening and had a call the next day to arrange delivery for Wednesday. Desk was easy to,assemble and great value for money.

Price Match Not Worth The Paper Its Written On!

Bought a couple of items and found them cheaper elsewhere. They wriggle out by saying the terms of other suppliers are different, even if its free delivery! Numerous calls but said had not received the query by which time it was too late to return.

Terrible Service, Late Delivery And A Product Missing Parts

We were promised our desks were to be delivered before Christmas, but they did not. We were then assured they would arrive the first day we got back to work in the new year, they did not. Then when the Desks did arrive they were missing parts.

Trying to get hold of anyone at this company is almost impossible.

A very poorly run business with no grasp of quality control or customer service.

Terrible Service!!

We have 3 offices and UKOFFICE DIRECT won't deliver to any of our branches except the registered office. How on earth can our other offices get supplies that they require if we have to get if into head office first?

On top of this emailing them if raising a general query they read the query then close it off without replying.

Every other supplier in the land we deal with ships to any address you input on the order screen, calling them they put you on hold for a time to check out a simply query as stated above.

I would say use a company that is hassle free!

We're really sorry that you've had difficulty talking to our customer service team about your order. On some orders (particularly furniture) our couriers need to specify a day to deliver to you. The courier will call you the day before the next available delivery date. You are able to ask them for an alternative date on this telephone call, so if the next available delivery day is too soon, you can move it to another day. I agree with you . When I contacted the Customer service staff to ask where my order was and complained that I couldn't take time off from my full time job to accept delivery at short notice of one day . I was told that I was snapping and she put the phone down on me!

We are very sorry you had difficulty with an order. At UK Office Direct we delivery all over the UK Mainland and you can specify a different delivery address when placing an order. By default it will be your registered address but this can easily be amended to go to another branch. Unfortunately you will be unable to edit or change your delivery address after an order has been placed, so please ensure you check this information thoroughly prior to placing your order. Could Not Ask For Better Service

When I placed my order with directofficesupply it was so easy to do and when they called to book in the delivery that was also a surprise, I thought the goods would just turn up

In all this went so smoothly I will go back

Defective Printer - No Offer Of Refund

Terrible experience. Defective product arrived. Called to ask for replacement. Seriously disappointing response. I was told I needed to contact manufacturer i.e nothing to do with them.
