The Philips Philishave Speed-xl Is Not As Good As
The Philips Philishave Speed-XL is not as good as my older 7000 series. Motor seems slower which means a less comfortable shave.

Used Philishaves for over 40years.
The Philips Philishave Speed-XL HQ8150 is the worst shaver and the most expensive I've ever bought. In my experience, I had a poor quality shave - more plucking action than cutting action.
In my opinion, it is NOT recommended.

The Philips Speed-xl Hq8150 Mens Shaver Is Not Bad
The Philips Speed-XL HQ8150 mens shaver is not bad, but my old Philips Philishave 920 was a better machine by far. I probably should have bought new heads and saved my money.

I've Used Electric Shavers For The Last 20 Years A
I've used electric shavers for the last 20 years and decided it was time to replace my 6 year old Braun shaver. Having never used a rotary shaver before, I decided I'd give it a go. The first thing I discovered was just how pricey shavers were these days! In the end I opted for this model, mainly because the price had been reduced from £120 to £80 but also because it promised a "faster and closer" shave".
On average I spent about 4 minutes longer using this shaver compared to my old Braun foil shaver and even then there were areas of stubble noticeably visible. As you're forced to go over the same areas again and again in the vain hope of achieving a cleaner shave, you're skin can feel "raw" afterwards. I've switched back to my 6 year old foil shaver which was a lot cheaper and produces much better results. I'm gutted that I've wasted £80 but it could have been worse....it could have been £120!!
