Best & Worst--great Product, Pathetic Producer.

I have managed to find one of these toothbrushes since the very first (not easy to do). They are terrific or I simply wouldn't bother. They have evolved through several iterations (no vibrations, no paste) to the design I have now which is convenient and efficient. My dentist told me yesterday to not bother about cleanings more than once yearly as my teeth were quite clean when I arrived. I am 84 and brush and floss daily, nothing more.

Why, then, are they such a secret? They are apparently unobtainable in the US and searching on the internet brings up all sorts of alternate products, most with

Sorry about the "repeat" replies, not sure what went wrong!

I had two Ultrasonex brushes (first one was Ni-Cad batteries, the newer one NiMh if I remember right). Once both died I was rather bamboozled what to buy.

I moved on to the Sonicare HealthyWhite and am very happy, with the cleaning power - and positive feedback from my dentist, which is the best recommendation of all!

Bought First Ultrasonex From Qvc. Very Inpressed

Bought first Ultrasonex from QVC. Very inpressed with cleaning action. By far the best in the market. After two years the sonic tip holding the brush broke. Bought a second one, but again after two years the tip failed. Unit never been dropped. Suspect the sonic vibrations work-harden the plastic tip holding the brush. Wrote several times to Ultrasonex but never had replies. Brush heads are difficult to obtain. My Tinitus has worsened since using brush but that may be coincidental.

All of a sudden the brusheads are unavailable. The company website sings the praises of their product but they are "out of stock" and repeat orders are not available. Why they continue to have a website baffles me

Extremely Disappointed That The Replacement Brushh

Extremely disappointed that the replacement brushheads for Ultrasonex Phaser toothbrushes are becoming as rare as a strong economy. Bought this in November 2002 on HSN and still going strong, but..WANT MORE BRUSH HEADS!!!!! This brush does a really terrific job, far better than Sonicare, and..I have 10 years experience in the dental industry. I do my own hand scaling at home, but...this brush makes my "cleaning" as complete as going to the dentist. Floss, scale and use this brush and you'll be in good shape.

Come on, is someone is sitting on these replacement brushheads somewhere? If not, someone pick up the option and make this brush again. Don't forget the brushheads!

I am 66 and have been to the dentist so much. I have had problem teeth all my life. With every visit I am told to floss better and brush better. I have purchased electric brushes from the dentist and several other brands with the same results. I finally purchased the Ultrasonex when I saw it on HSN probably 4 or 5 years ago. After using it I had my first cleaning and was told I did a great job cleaning. Then I retired and lost my dental insurace. I kept coming up with excused not to go to the dentist. Well 3 years past and I finally went in for a cleaning expected to be lectured. I could not believe my ears when I was told what a good job I did with flossing and brushing!!!!!!! What can I say but this is the very best toothbrush because I didn't do anything special. Half the time I even failed to floss!!!!

The Phaser Is The Best Toothbrush On The Market, P

The Phaser is the best toothbrush on the market, period.Would be great if the heads came with extra fine brushes too. It's not just 'sonic' (noise making), but Ultra-sonic (penetrating clean and disinfection). Shame it's difficult to find in shops, and the charger can't be hung on wall.

Had mine for nearly 8 years now, no kidding! Just about to replace it as the battery only lasts around 4 days now. I really can't recommend it enough and you don't have to pay silly money for them They are readily available for around £30.I'm 30 now and only see my dentist every 3 years and he always comments on the condition of my teeth. No fillings and don't even get them cleaned when i go either!
