The Gr-dx95ek From Jvc Is A Nifty Little Entry Min
The GR-DX95EK from JVC is a nifty little entry Mini DV, gives nice clear pictures and the supplied software is a breeze to use for the beginners. Captures to both USB and Firewire enabled pcs or macs and I've tried it on both with great results. The E-clip feature is a nifty gimmick which stores up to 3 min clips on the SD/Multimedia Card rather than the mini dv tape for quick emailing. This camera fits snugly in the hand for that completely take anywhere feel which is just what you want from this type of technology. Battery life is OK at 1hr (same length as a single mini dv tape) although a 2hr battery can be purchased seperately.
Did you figure out how you use it in the dark? I can't get anything only ghost lights in slow motion!! Cannot film in dark or in club type surrounding etc would love to hear from you cheers
