Sony DCR-SX30E Handycam

Overall excellent cheap first camcorder. I got it for a Christmas present and the functions are awesome and it is so easy to use!!!

I'm certainly no wizz with a camcorder, but with cool functions like auto steady, it makes me look like a professional! Uploading your videos couldn't be easier with the software disk provided. Insert your camera and download your videos to your computer in seconds and burn them to disc with the click of a button.

The built in 4GB memory isn't too bad, you can record a constant 80 mins of video on the best quality (9MPs) and it's easily upgradable with the momory card slot on the side.

I haven't came across any bad points just yet, apart from the battery life isn't awesome, you get about 120mins of use on the best quality from a fully charged battery.

Overall an excellent camcorder for every day use.
