Help! Have Very Recently Got A Dmr-ex85eb-s
HELP!
Have very recently got a DMR-EX85EB-S DVD Recorder and have Sky digital.
Can someone please help as to how I can record one sky channel and watch another one?
Does not seem possible at the moment as the Sky channels do not come up in the DVD Recorders TV Guide, only freeview channels do!
Please help!!
The simple answer is that you can't, unless that is one of the Sky programs that is also on preview. You require a second LNB line and a box; the easiest option is to switch from your Sky to Sky+. Leave a message on the Review Centre forums if you want the cheapest way to do that.

My Panasonic DMREX85 is good, you can record from digital, edit to remove advert breaks, split into chapters and burn to disk a full film for about 1/2 an hours work. If you want an all-singing DVD/HD/Freeview all in one box, then get this one. And a little Internet search will also turn up where it can be bought for less than the high-street and region free to boot.
