Had The Original Video/hdd Recorder From Jvc So Ha
Had the original Video/HDD recorder from JVC so had high hopes for this. However everything learned was forgotten Instead we got slow menus and convoluted editing options.
Seems to have limited life for people, ine has the first signs i.e."Loading" on display when turned on for a long time.

The Dr-mh30 Has Loads Of Features So It Can Do All
The DR-MH30 has loads of features so it can do all the standard stuff that an HDD recorder can do, plus a lot more. I wish now that it had a digital decoder, but it can be set to synchronize recordings with an external decoder. I've generally had no problems with it, except that the software crashes if you pause live TV and then attempt to store the buffered video as a recording when it's about to start another recording.Unfortunately they use a Maxtor HDD, which died on mine after 3 years. That's the only reason I can't give a much higher rating.
