I Purchased The Logitech Harmony One Remote Having
I purchased the Logitech Harmony One Remote having previously owned the "One4All Xsight Touch".
The remote itself is ergonomically designed and has most of the 'hard' buttons you would want however in my opinion I do think it is missing the colour buttons (red, blue, green, yellow) which are often used Sky, teletext, etc.), but these can of course be programmed on the touch screen.
The setup up is very easy if you have newer devices, but a little more involved for older devices. The software I find a little 'cluncky' and slow to update the remote.
You can program 'activities' (like 'Watch TV', etc.) but one really annoying so-called 'feature' is the auto-power-on, that happens when you go into an activity - so for example of you are in 'watch tv' and then go into 'watch dvd' it will power on the TV, but since it's already on it turns it off! Trust me, very very annoying.
The biggest gripe is that if you have to typically press a button twice when you first pick up the remote, because the first press effectively 'wakes up' the remote. I have reported both of these to Logitech.
Overall, ok, but certainly some room for improvement.

The Universal Remote Is The Best I Have Ever Come
The Universal Remote is the best I have ever come across. The small touch screen is great to customise and easy to use. When you buy the remote you get a CD that you install on your PC, then follow the instructions. First it will ask you to fill in some forms which then program it for your devices. Once this is done you then set up activities like "Watch TV", "DVD" etc.... This can be done with an Automatic list, but if you wish to setup "Watch TV" twice for say 2 different TV's or one to watch with TV volume and one with AMP volume then there is a manual setup, again very easy. You can rename all these so don't worry. When you press TV it will even put it onto the correct AV channel without any problems. The colour screen then becomes your red, green, yellow and blue buttons when TV has been selected. You can even set up fave channels and program them in to the touch screen. Another great function it has that you can choose if things turn off when changing devices, when I want to listen to a CD I press "CD" and it will turn on the CD player and turn off the TV, AMP and SKY HD box, so there for saving power and money. Another great function is that if your device isn't found (which is nearly impossible) you can learn the controls, or if you wantto change the way it works you can reconfig the buttons. I also have a PS3 which due to the bluetooth side the remote won't control, but you can buy a NYKO remote dongle (Logitech do say when loading a PS3 on to the remote) which then makes your PS3 useable. All you have to do is load in a DVD/BLU-RAY and the remote will then work. At the end of your use just hit the off button, it will then turn all your devices off and thats it. I think thats about it, but sure I have missed somethings out as there is so many things it can do.
If you do get stuck, just email Logitech or Call them and they will reply normally within a few hours. Just explain your probelm and they normally program it there end and ask you to simply update the controller.
This is truelly a great product and easy to use.
