London 2012 Olympics

I went to see the Athletics yesterday in Stratford and it was truly amazing. The entire Olympic park is very very well done and the scale of everything there is monumental - The walkways are the size of Motorway. Obviously there's the biggest McDonalds in the world and stadium us gigantic. It doesn't look it from outside, but when you're in there the people the other side (width ways) are like dots!

We had cracking seats near the start/finish line, but we were high up - even so the view was fantastic (as was watching the USA ladies set the new 4x100m record!) and I imagine it would be from most areas in the stadium.

Yes, people with say the food (other than McDonalds's which believe was standard prices) and drink is pricey, but if you're in London a lot the beer at £4.60 will not be a shock to the system and anyone who's been t a festivak will find the food a bargain.

All-in-all a cracking day out and a park we can truly be proud of - WELL DONE EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH 2012! (Oh, and GOOO team GB!)
