My Wife And I Took Along Our Two Children On A Ver

My wife and I took along our two children on a very rainy day mid week during the October half term. We were told that we could not buy the normally available lesser priced ticket to go into the indoor wild things play area. The reason being that was half term! Surely an example of pure and obvious greed! We could not justify the very price and left with disappointed children.

We were not the only family that was not prepared, or a able, to pay the prices. In the park's greed they were probably loosing money.

Went To Adventure Wonderland Theme Park Near Bourn

Went to Adventure Wonderland theme Park near Bournemouth on a recent holiday at Weymouth. I used my Tesco clubcard reward vouchers for £60 so just had to pay £4.50 or would have been £64.50 for family to get in (2 adults 4 children & 1 baby) You can only use the Tesco vouchers for individual tickets and not family ticket.

Good Points: -

1. Wild Thing (soft play area).

2. The few rides they have are suitable for younger children.

3. You can use Tesco reward vouchers.

4. Most of rides included in ticket price.

Bad Points:-

1. Toilets cleanliness poor they don't seem to be cleaned regularly.

2. Lot of litter around the park.

3. Some of the rides and attractions could do with a lick of paint/maintenance.

4. Car driving school & small coin operated cars extra price.

5. At one point kids went on train ride and attendant had to keep pushing it as it went round as it kept getting stuck.

6. Car Park full of potholes could do with a decent surface.

Overall glad we went but wouldn't go back again unless used Tesco vouchers as overpriced for the rides they offer. Needs a bit of money spent doing up the site and I'm sure it could be great. Maybe Duncan Bannatyne's Seaside Rescue.

This was quite a good place to visit, however, beware of the hidden costs for some of the rides and attractions. Also some of the attractions could do with a touch of paint etc to liven them up a bit. My daughter hurt herself on the Queen of Hearts chair and ripped a big hole in her trousers and there was no one available to help and i have not been contacted since! Not bad but don't expect to stay all day.

The rides at this park are ideal for under 5's. The show has poor sound quality but is entertaining. The cafe and food is adequate. The toilets are very poor, dirty and not easily accessable to baby change. These urgently need restructuring.

All Inclusive Theme Park- The Only Extra Thing We

All inclusive theme park- the only extra thing we could have paid for were pony rides, otherwise all included. We used tesco vouchers which made it an excellent value for money day out. Staff really friendly and helpful. Restaurant good and not too expensive either. Good for 0-9 yr olds. Indoor play area big and show really good.

It Was A Real Wow With The Kids. Shame The Weather

It was a real wow with the kids. Shame the weather was poor.

I visited at Easter and believe it or not the characters we saw that day were the same as today...(Do they actually live in wonderland?)

The show was something of nothing really but the kids loved it, so was a plus. I agree with comments bellow Alice & The Mad Hatter were great!

The Alice In Wonderland shop was lovely bought loads in there!

the staff all round were polite.

Just really wish that the reason we went was there. SHARK ISLAND WAS DUE LAST TIME WE WENT! & that was months ago!

I Visited The Alice In Wonderland Park Today 30/08

I visited the Alice in Wonderland park today 30/08/2009 which in Bournemouth was a slightly outcast rainy days(What a suprise)

I agree with the phase "fun no matter the Weather"

The indoor play centre was packed but massive so made no difference. Kids running round having soo much fun. The cafe was clean but barely any seats. It was ridiculous that between the times of 10:00am and 6:00pm (which the park is open) there are 2 shows. Im sorry but i would expect at least 3 if not 4!!

The Rabbit was our favourite and then followed by the massive lion, we didnt expect to see a 9ft rabbit dancing on stage what a laugh. The girl who played Alice was lovely and really fitted the part, Mad Hatter was actually MAD and had us in stitches during there Tea party performance of Alices adventures in wonderland.

Whats great is as the characters open the doors for showtime and are lively and excited despite the fact (as stated bellow) the theatre was foul!!

I didnt like the Maze it was more like a swamp, The YoYo ride didnt go up with my husband on it therefore hes now on a losing weight programme.

Brill Day, Worth a trip!!

Alice In Wonderland, Dorset Is The Worst And Most

Alice In Wonderland, Dorset is the worst and most over hyped place I have been to!! My children are 8 and 3 and the "big" outdoor rides are so old! and rubbish.

There is a nice area for a picnic but why pay £35 or so for a bit of grass to eat your own food.

The best bit for the kids was the indoor play area which they loved. I normally pay about £3.50 at my local indoor play club. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY this place is really rubbish.

We Arrived At The Main Entrance Of Alice In Wonder

We arrived at the main entrance of alice in wonderland thinking we were early, bearing in mind the park wasn't even open for another 15 minutes, but the que was right back into the car park. We were disappointed that not all the ticket boxes were open and only two accepted Credit/Debit card.

But have no fear as it got to 10:00 the magic began to happen as all the children at the gate spotted Alice in Wonderland & the Mad hatter walking up the path. What an amazing atmosphere it suddenly created, the Park characters were so interactive and i have read the comments bellow and if its the same guys then i totally Agree what an ASSET. It must have been the same Mad Hatter because the things which he was coming out with had me in Hysterics.

We watched the Show despite the delay due to a technical problem, The Alice in Wonderland and Mad hatter pulled it off despite the fact we appeared to be a tin shack for a theatre. With a moldy floor and non painted foyer walls, and a patchy stage.

All the staff were polite on the day, But the characters made it spectacular.

STICK WITH A FREE MAP, THE PARK GUIDES ARNT WORTH THE CASH!
