The Animals Were Not Very Healthy Looking, There S
The animals were not very healthy looking, there seemed to be little food and no water for them to drink or use to cool down. It was a very upsetting site to see. The leaflets for Aitana Safari Park describe a petting zoo, reptiles, shows, a swimming pool etc. The pool was filled with rubbish and the water had turned green and covered in algie. The monkeys looked so sorry for them selves. Within the same area there was a lion and lioness both who were both in a very small area. The space the tigers had was much bigger. The place was not well maintained and the animals did not look cared for.
I have visited Aitana Safari Park 3 times in past 4 yrs. First 2 visits were amazing...i fell in love with place and all the animals. 3rd visit this year was a completely different experience. There was an air of despondency hanging over place. Many animals were not there that had been previously. Feeding time in afternoon was hurried and grass only, animals looked depressed quite frankly. I left feeling that something was very wrong there...so can agree with both reviews as to it being a magical day out initially to a sad sorry place now.
I disagree with this review because it is factually incorrect. There is not a pool and the animals are all well looked after.
