I Have Loved The Alex Cross Series, But This Book

I have loved the Alex Cross series, but this book was terrible. What happened to Alex Cross? I was getting so annoyed with his ridiculous and selfish actions in Africa, that I wanted The Tiger to kill him already! He went to Africa after a killer who mainly killed families. Did he not think about his own family? He left them in the care of an 80 something year old woman, and he didn't once think that he should be around to protect them? He has turned into a complete selfish moron. I almost feel as if he should be in a mental institution in the next book. Phew, glad I got that out, lol.

I Read All The Alex Cross Books And Loved Them All

I read all the Alex Cross books and loved them all! So when i saw that there was a new(er) one on the shelves i was really excited and couldn't wait to read it.

However as i started reading it i immediately thought of how the character of Alex Cross wasn't the one i had come to love.

Then it took a long time for the book to actually get into the plot and then the pplot got a little bit ridiculous.

In all, this book suchs and i'm glad that i've seen that other people have felt the same way as me, and that i wasn't over reacting.

A Very Shallow And Disappointing Book, I've Just F

A very shallow and disappointing book, I've just finished reading it and feel robbed. What the heck was Kyle Craig doing cropping up at the end? I can only assume James Patterson wants us to remember the name for when he escapes prison.

James Patterson Shame On You. I Love Your Alex Cr

James Patterson shame on you. I love your Alex Cross books but this is awful. It is predictable and dire. We all know these terrible attrocities are happening but this novel somehow 'hollywoodises' it.

Cross Country Is, By Far, The Worst Book I Have Re

Cross Country is, by far, the worst book I have read in recent memory. It reads as if it were written by an untalented high school student for the purpose of completing an assignment. The storyline was OK but there was absolutely no character development.

The James Patterson, Cross Country Book Was Rubbis

The james patterson, cross country book was rubbish, who in their right minds would do what Cross did. Betrayed by the FBI, CIA, his own colleagues the Nigerian Government and Judicial system and the Church. His new female friend shot to death and her entire family burnt to a cinder. All this while his 80 something looks after his kids and makes bluebery pie. Crap. James Patterson must have been told by his publishers we need a couple of novels by March 2009 or you don't get paid to have churned out this drivel.

Can't wait to read his next offering though, featuring New Yorks top negotiator, who is widowed and looks after his ten adopted children !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Reintroduction Of Kyle Craig At The End Of Cro

The reintroduction of Kyle Craig at the end of Cross Country by James Patterson was a surprise twist; the next Alex Cross installation promises to be interesting if Kyle Craig is the villain. Alex Cross is a tired character after so long. When it comes to his lovelife, "Cross Country" tells the same old story: Alex is attracted to someone he's thrown together with because of a life and death situation or "case", he does the right thing by not acting on his feelings, upon returning home he questions his current relationship, etc. This particular chase in Africa was just not engaging, I found myself thinking "when is this going to be over?" as I was reading...definitely NOT a good sign when reading a novel!

Cross Country Is Certainly The Worst Book I Have R

Cross Country is certainly the worst book I have read for a long time, I continued to the bitter end in the hope that it might improve, but no such luck

Poor plotting

Poor writing

Very superficial view of Africa

Those stupid short chapters

James Patterson, Cross Country Was A Christmas Pre

James Patterson, Cross Country was a Christmas present so it was the thought that counted. However I cannnot believe that an author of merit would put his/her name to such a badly written book.

Last time I looked in the bookshop it was half price - still too expensive.
