Dean Koontz, The Face was an incredible book. It's quite long, but never laborious. I was gripped all the way through, and especially by the relationship between our hero Ethan, and the little boy in the story. There was a surprise at the end, and I left the book feeling totally satisfied.
Well I hope you are right. I`m going to read it for the first time and i love Koontz`s books so i dont wanna be disappointed.

Dean Koontz, The Face - Fifth Koontz book, (just finished The Taking which was fair-good). The Face is disappointing, confusing and hard to follow due to the relentless, run-on, boring details, and due to the scattered plot. Abandoned book half way through, my 1st. Does not captivate the reader. Too much filler, not enough thriller. As if this book was written by a "Koontz wanna-be" who just could not seem to tie things together. All characters have odd names as if living in "Whoseville", didn't get the point of that. Oh well, I'm starting Odd Thomas tonight.

Dean Koontz, The Face - A First Koontz Read For Me
Dean Koontz, The Face - A first Koontz read for me but certainly not the last! The Face is incredible! Witty, frightening, suspenseful and humorous, I simply could not put this book down...And ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to Corky Laputa one of the greatest villains I've ever read about. Thank you Dean Koontz!
