Ann Brashares, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

it was a book i could not put down!!!

Ann Brashmeres has written four books in this series,The Sisterhood of the Traveling pants, The Second Sisterhood, Girls in Pants, Forever in Blue each being about 300-400 pages long. Each character have their one very real like personality. They are so real and you connect to each character. They remind everyone of someone they know. You go through with each girls their experiences, cringing and crying with all of them. All of them have their shinig and I loved that. The only critism I could make of this book is that they didn't fight properly. Such a close-knit group of girls would have fallen out more often. They had silly squabbles but not big fights. Also you can't imagine someone like Lena being friends with someone as outspoken as Tibby. But I still loved all of them!

It showed how girls stick together throught thick and thin! No bad points i noticed, very good book.

I've read all of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books(yes I do have a life) and I absolutely loved them. What makes them funny is that they are so realistic that they just totally remind you of your best friends. In every group of friends there is always the worrier with a mouth (carmen), the the active stud who always takes on too much(Bee), the one who mostly keeps to herself(Lena), and the one with an attitude,but still loveable(Tibby). There should be more books about how they, like, stay together even when their all moms and everything. It'd be cool to see who would settle down for a nice family life and who would stay in their fun ways. Woa... what if Bee like, became a mom and settled down? that'd be weird huh?

Anne Brashares, The sisterhood of the travelling pants is wonderful!, hilarious! excellent! If you read no other book this month read this trilogy! Lena is the beautiful one who's love life is complicated and exciting through the series, Carmen is the mother-and-father-are-divorced one who has to face step-mothers, step-siblings, and step-fathers throughout the book, she is quite cool, and she has always been quite curvy, and turns out to be a bit of a babe in the end! Carmen is the drop-dead-gorge one who has bright blonde hair and is super athletic, in the second book she kind of goes into despair because of Eric, and is a plump gothic girl until a session with her grandmother. And Tibby, is a budding director and goes through many different emotional stages with her family, this little girl she meets and Brian. They are best friends being split up in the summer, but sending these pair of "pants"(jeans) round, they fit them all even though they are different figure's and give them luck when most needed. They make up rules for this one pair of pants and all go they're separate ways for the summer, sending the pants along they're line of friends and writing, phoning and e-mailing to let them know what they've been doing! When they get back they all meet up at Gilda's (where they're mothers met) and write on the legs(and occasionally stitch) the best thing that happened to them, where they went and experience's in general!

Ann Brashares, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants: I've read all of the book around 3 times and I absolutely love it..whoever has friends out there like these 4, you seriously have nothing to complain about...everytime I read it I got myself wishing I was in their world and Ann's style of writing is great!

Ann Brashares, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants - On a scale from one to ten, this book gets an eleven. It's an outstanding book! Every time you read you find yourself laughing, crying, and even sometimes short of breath. This book is about four young teenagers who are so different from each other and yet all so alike. While Bridget is trying to grow up way too fast, Lena is falling in love for the first time in a foreign country. And while Tibby is losing one of the greatest people she has ever known, Carmen is throwing a fit and much more through her father's window. It has an amazing plot and characters you fall in love with immediately. I could read this book over and over again and never get bored with it.

And as if that's not enough, there's a second book and a third book. The second book is even better than the first, picking up right where you wanna start. But hey! Don't take my word for it, read the book yourself and then decide where you'd place it on a scale from one to ten.

Ann Brashares, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants - Delicious, and spot on. Summarises beautifully the joy and horror of friendship. Very funny but at times extremely moving. With an excellent message and overall wonderful display of emotions. Spectacular integration of cultures and beliefs to create a mixing pot of glory and triumph all through familiar eyes. A real gem.

Ann Brashares, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants - Overall, this is a GREAT book, for both guys and gals. It shows friendship and its ups and downs, relationships with the opposite sex, and most importantly, the relationship with your parents. I absolutely LOVE this book and I recommend it to anyone who loves a great read. TSotTP is also in production!!! Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn lead the cast followed by some unfamiliar but rising stars such a America Ferrera and Blake Lively. I wonder who's playing, Eric, cos he sounds like a HOTTIE!!!

You will make friends with the characters in The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. It is heart-warming and you won't get bored of it. There are four main characters in this book, so you will have to read it quite often to remember the names of the characters. There is a second sequel to this book, which you will want to get as soon as possible. It is an enjoyable book which you won't want to ever end.
