Super Mario 64 Is A Great Remake Of The Classic N6
Super Mario 64 is a great remake of the classic N64 game: with clever and interesting additions.
Play as one of four lovable characters: Yoshi, Mario, Luigi or Wario and unlock stars in various levels to free Princess Peach from the evil clutches of Bowser.
A very fun game with interesting 3D graphics, a multitude of levels and even some unlockable mini-games for when you want a break from the main adventure.
For those that strive to reach goals, you can unlock new things with the successful gaining of stars, and eventually free the princess. For the players who prefer neverending gameplay, you can return to each course even after the game is 'over' to discover new interesting secrets, beat old high scores or even just destroy the bosses you really dislike time and time again.
Undoubtedly one of Nintendo's best DS games, and one that's fun for a variety of ages.

Super Mario 64 Is One Of The Best Nintendo Ds Game
Super Mario 64 is one of the best Nintendo DS Games, and it always will be! There is loads to do, and this game will keep you going for a long time. There is Mario, Luigi, Wario and Yoshi, and they all have their own strengths. You need their strengths for different levels, so it's quite fun not to play just as Mario like on the N64 Version!

Nintendo Really Couldn't Have Picked A Better Game
Nintendo really couldn't have picked a better game than Super Mario 64 to showcase the kind of 3D the DS is capable of, it shows that the DS is much sharper and clearer, with better textures possible but it also shows some things it lacks, such as the slight blurring effect of the N64 game which helped hide blocky polygons that are now more visible on the DS.
However, whilst it has been rumoured that the DS doesn't have reflections or the same water effects they are made up, the DS handles these and everything else fine.
Once starting, you play as Yoshi, and have to rescue Mario, Luigi and Wario, all who have their own abilities.
Yoshi can swallow enemies and fire, which allows him to melt ice and is essential for some stars later. Mario is the same as always but is the only character that can do the wall jump; if he picks up the flower you float retro style! Luigi can jump the highest and also has a very floaty jump like Yoshi; he also has the ability to run through mesh-wire and mirrows when he gets a flower. Wario is slow, doesn't jump very high but he is strong and the flower turns him metal, allowing him to walk underwater to collect stars.
The main adventure has had some tinkering, 30 new stars in total have been added so even expert players from the past will have new things to do.
Those aside, there is also a multiplayer thrown in, it is fairly basic, a 30-second run-around one of four stages to collect stars, players can steal stars and change characters mid play but the real value is the single-cart link, it won't hold your interest for long but it's great for a go every now and then.
The last addition is a collection of mini-games, most of these are pretty simple and you won't play for long, but a few of them can really grab you, and they prove to be something to do if you get bored with the adventure.
The control is a slight problem though, with the d-pad you don't get the same level of control and many people find the touch method too hard, stick with it though and before long you will be playing just as well as you used to!

Super Mario 64 Is Almost As Good As The Original,
Super Mario 64 is almost as good as the original, but is harder to control due to the fact that it has a control pad instead of a joystick. Aside from that, I loved this game. I love Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi, so I had a lot of fun using them (not to mention Mario as well!) I felt like I had more choices on how to beat the game, and I like how there were a few brand new levels.
I think that the brand new levels definitely made the game MUCH better than before! Well done Nintendo
