Soul Calibur II

I first came across the PS2 Game Soul Calibur II at a friends house and instantly fell in love with it. It is just amazing. I could be here all day saying how good this game is but since i don't have time(and i can't be bothered)i'll narrow it down the key good points.

Gameplay-Xeptional!It's easy to understand and fairly easy to use even when you are a total novice to this game.

Graphics-pure brilliance,smooth, fluid movement and cracking detail make it stand out.The movements are so realistic and the environments are pretty sweet.A host of characters are already available at the start of the game and 8 more can be unlocked throughout the course of the game as well as a host of other extras including game modes and artwork as well as weapon demonstrations and movies. You can also unlock 10 new weapons for each character as well as new costumes for some of them,which adds a bit of variety to it.

It has two(yes two!)multiplayer modes and is horribly addictive,and it's still challenging enough to make you scream at your TV,but even then you won't lose intrest.

Now for perhaps the only bad thing. Each console has a unique character that is not available on the other consoles. X-Box has Spawn and Gamecube has Link,both of which are really cool.BUT,the PS2 gets some old bloke from the Tekken series. He's the only one who fights without weapons and his shocking performance reflects this. He is REALLY bad.

Overall,this is a real value for money and is worth every penny.Those with the PS2 version are missing out with a let down of a unique character but apart from that, get this as you will not regret it!
