Tatler's, Norwich

Tried this out after getting a voucher off the internet. Total disappointment! When we first got there the atmosphere seemed nice and the staff were friendly as we were shown to our table (not told however that half the menu wasn't actually in stock). 20 minutes later we were still being ignored for even a drinks order. When the wine did finally arrive (the wrong one) it was left already opened on the table with 2 dirty glasses, not poured or even in a wine cooler as she went off to serve another table. 30 minutes later badly cooked camembert arrived, 45 minutess after finishing that there was still no sight of the mains and when asking she told us that the gammon (not what we had ordered) was going to be ready in 10 minutes. We left, in credit didn't have to pay anything but I certainly will never go again!

Excellent, informal and exquisite dining. A great central location, fantastic menu, comprehensive but well selected wine cellar all go to enhance a delicious menu that is delivered to each of the tables by an obviously dedicated team. Perfect.
