Amazing
Hadn't been for a while as we have been travelling away a lot. They've had a refurb with new booth seating and a private dining area. Looked very cosy and inviting. Love the wallpaper!
Tried the monthly specials, Coriander chicken and Lamb Chops for starters. Lamb Sali and Shahi Murgh Paneer for mains. Food was very tasty and presentation was really good. Fantatci evening, would recommend to anyone!

Great Casual Indian Food But Atmosphere Is Intimat
Great casual Indian food but atmosphere is intimate for romance. We eat there at least once a month. We tried their Valentine Day menu at 24.95 there was so much food. They also had excellent wines for 9.95 a bottle - a real value. The atmosphere was elegant, the music was pop love song classics. As always the service was friendly and attentive and the food nice portions, authentic Indian food. It included starter, choice of mains from mild to very hot, several sides and desert. The desert was a large portion of strawberry cheesecake, you can tell it wasn't the typical frozen desert. It tasted like it was flown in from New York. Highly recommend.

I Used To Get Takeaway From Royal Tandoori At Leas
I used to get takeaway from Royal Tandoori at least once a week for around fifteen years, or longer if you include the takeaways the owner used to cook at home when he first started in business, and i used to eat in the restaurant three or four times a year. always enjoyed the food, UNTIL
I phoned on the 12th to book a table for Valentines night, i was very happy they said no problem for a late table 830- 900 pm
We arrived 825 all dressed up and relived we managed to get a babysitter, even though she could only stay to around 11-1130 max.
After standing / sitting in a very cramped doorway with the people ordering takeaways we were eventually given a table at 945 at 10.00 we got to order food and wine, at 10.15 i asked again for the wine and maybe some even some food!
The wine only took another 5-10 minuets but the starter finally arrived at 1045!! after i had gone to speak to the owner! the main course arrived as we were eating the starter, which was cold / limp! the main course was ok but not great! but we had ran out of time anyway and didnt get to finish it.
We was left feeling squeezed in and used for the extra cash, i wish they hadn't tried to be greedy trying to get an extra sitting on Valentines night just for the extra money! we just wanted a nice night, and they ruined it!
Never used them since and never will again!

After Hearing Rave Reviews About The Royal Tandoor
After hearing rave reviews about the Royal tandoori on Rockingham Road, Corby, I finally decided to pay them a visit in March 2009. Upon entering the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised to see the table decorated with balloons and confetti and a birthday banner. It was my birthday, which I mentioned at the time of booking, but was not expecting this! From then on the night was fantastic as we were treated like royalty. The food was very tasty (It was a bit late in coming out, but worth the wait!). They saved the best till last. When we asked for the bill, they turned down the lights and brought out a cake and all the staff gathered around and sang me Happy Birthday. Wow, wot a birthday and wot a restaurant. Definitely recommended to everybody.

10 Out Of 10 Without A Shadow Of Doubt. What A Sup
10 out of 10 without a shadow of doubt. What a superb restaurant, it's clean spacious and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and couldn't have been better. What lovely food and I would thoroughly recommend it. When it came to receiving the bill I was aghast at how reasonable it was for four people. Would definately go again when in the area.
