This Is The Best Italian Restaurant In Cardiff. W

This is the best Italian restaurant in Cardiff. With a strong influence of the Spice trail; the food is both inventive and colourful. My favourite meal is "Rice minuet" a spicy seafood dish; but for those with more traditional tastes in Italian food, I'd highly recommend the "Emma Kirkby" Spinach and ricotta stuffed pancakes. Delicious!

Although Marcello retired this year, aged 73!!! the high standards have been maintained by Nadine. It's a great place for all the family.

This Is A Fabulous Little Hide-away Italian Restau

This is a fabulous little hide-away Italian restaurant in the Castle Arcade Cardiff. Only a few doors down from Pizza Express you can have an authentic taste of Italy with home made dishes all prepared in a tiny kitchen by the proprietor and his two daughters (they look related anyway and very Italian!).

I always opt for the mini-takeaway pizzas for a couple of £ with various toppings and drizzled with garlic olive oil.

Seriously good, cooked to order and piping hot. You will need the napkin for wiping the juices from your jaw.

According to their menu there's heaps of choice on pizza, pasta and deserts with a limited decent wine list.

I can't wait to find the time to eat inside, rather than just shuffling about joyously outside!

It's a must visit if you're in Cardiff.
