Dined at Just St James last night and made use of their London Restaurant Week offer - 3 courses for £25. They have a nice bar area for drinks before/ after dinner. The staff were friendly but it seems the welcome was inconsistent. The restaurant is in a beautiful space, very high ceilings, marble pillars and a mezzanine level for private dining.I have eaten here before and the food has always been of a high standard. The London Restaurant Week menu was fairly limited, with three choices for starter. main and dessert each. However everyone was able to find something they liked, the portions were generous and the food was of the same high quality (the tomato bread is delicious).However, watch the extras - with drinks and side dishes £25 per person quickly becomes £55 per person. All in all a good experience in a lovely restaurant using a great value promotion to fill their (very) empty seats, i would return & recommend.
