Lovely

Totally delicious. I enjoyed the Chef’s special, utilized the servers suggestions , and finalized off with a pleasing soft serve dish .

Classic cooking, serviced in an unpretentious dining-room without a large amount of fuss. Their food definitely speaks by itself, and though non-meat eaters will probably discover their choice quite limited, it's a carnivore's paradise. Many business-types here on a week day the afternoon meal, but the place was still fairly casual.

Service was warm, attentive and considered as without being pushy or stuffy. Will obviously return try a handful of the far more exciting cooking.

What A Let Down

Arrived at 830pm on a friday night place was dead, asked the waiter what the house red was he replied "I don't know I don't drink !!!!!!!" and the wine glasses were chipped.

I then asked the waiter what a Mao Teng sauce was he said I'll get someone who can tell you and then never came back with the infomation.

The food was on takeaway standards nothing special have had better takeaways. We shared a starter for two and have one fish dish one beef and noodles and veg with 4 glasses of wine came to £100 for two would have been better off at home with our local takeaway.

Definitely Different To Most Chinese Restaurants.

Definitely different to most Chinese restaurants. Lively atmosphere and the aquarium is a must. A couple of children were transfixed by the fish. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious with a wide choice. And the live pianist was an extra bonus.

I would thoroughly recommend Mr Wing to family and friends.

It Was A Quiet Tuesday Afternoon And We Were The O

It was a quiet Tuesday afternoon and we were the only folks in the restaurant. The service was a little slow but the atmosphere was friendly and the food was delicious.

A Friend Recommended Me To Go To Mr Wings And I Wa

A friend recommended me to go to Mr Wings and I was very pleasantly surprised. The d cor is a funky mix of eclectic euro oriental in the bar / lounge area upstairs - which is so unusual for a Chinese restaurant - and a paradise of tropical plants with 30ft fish tank in the downstairs dining area. The food and service equally measured up to the surroundings and the prices were very reasonable given the high quality. My favourite dish was their signature Aromatic Crispy Duck which was excellent. If you're not looking for a traditional Chinese restaurant and if you want to impress then I would highly recommend Mr Wing.

When I Was Told About A Chinese Restaurant That Ha

When I was told about a Chinese restaurant that had live Jazz nights, a wall-to-wall tropical fish tank and romantic jungle-like foliage, I had to make a trip to see for myself! I persuaded a couple of friends to join me, and they too were as impressed as I was with the Mr Wing Chinese restaurant in Earls Court /Chelsea. Odd as it all sounds, the decor of this place really works, and the food and service didn't disappoint either. One of my favourite bits of the restaurant (and there are quite a few) were the private alcoves in the basement. which just scream 'romance'! They have curtains that can be drawn shut if you don't want to see any of the other diners, or if you fancy some privacy! In terms of food, they do the usual classics very well, and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. There is even live jazz in the basement on Fridays and Saturdays. Not expensive by any stretch, as it was worth every penny! Mr Wing was a welcome relief from the bustle above ground, and I will definitely be going back!
