Alsyros, Hartlepool

Service was excellent, waiter fantastic working on his own on a busy saturday night but never made us feel we had to wait very friendly much better than previous waiter from 2 years ago. Food up to normal fantastic standards, can't fault it.

Food seems to be cooked and not microwaved unlike other places in Hartlepool. Handy for the station. Food served way, way, way too hot. Had to wait for ages before it could be eaten. Olives tasted odd as if they'd been in the fridge too long. Quite noisy the night I visited - thought management should have asked the people to be quiet.

I never thought it would be possible to find a restaurant of such high quality as Alsyros Mediterranean in Hartlepool. We have been regulars for the last four months after a recommendation from a friend. The choice is amazing. Everything is cooked to order, so there is no rush, and everything is cooked to perfection.
