Eliano's Brasserie, Middlesbrough

we decided to visit this little restaurant on a wed lunchtime, after a spot of xmas shopping. The place itself is small but cosy an it does have a nice feel to it, however after just a little while we found ourselves being extremely cold.

We decided to opt for the lunchtime menu.The restaurant was very quiet and had just another two people waiting for food. We waited 10 mins before the lady asked us for our drinks order and then we waited 55mins for our food! by the time our meal arrived we were so mad we didnt feel like it, and the lady just said that the plates had been dropped so the food had to be cooked again,which yes these things can happen but it would of been nice if she had come and explained why we were waiting so long and if we would like another drink whilst we waited.

Food was average, and do not think we would return.

Well where do I start! Visited Elianos after getting a good response from previous reviews. All I can say is that I think the staff themselves wrote these reviews because it certainly was NOT GOOD! Came on a Saturday night and it felt like a morgue and smelt foisty and unclean. The table cloths did not look as though they had been cleaned and the cutlery had remnants of dinners past on them. After being seated on a table all we could see was what looked like the owners scruffy child sitting at a table on his play station game, this was the only thing going on in the whole restaurant on a SATURDAY NIGHT! When the food finally came my husband's lamb was all fat and I had chicken which was ok but we got a tiny bowl of veg which didn't fill us up at all and quite frankly we wished we had gone to McDonalds instead. We certainly won't be coming again and anyone out there reading this I suggest you steer clear as well. The place just needs closing, its just a very has been restaurant. Overall a very disgusting experience that we hope we never have to endure again!

I've been to Eliano's quite a few times now, with my husband, on a hen night and with my Mum and every time the food has been fantastic as well as the service. A lovely restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere, always welcoming and more then happy to accomodate anyone. I'd definately recommend giving them a visit and fully intend to go back.

Myself and my family are regulars at this restaurant and have never been disapointed in the whole 7 years we have been dining here. We have always been greeted with a friendly smile and whether we are with the children or not the staff have always been very accomadating to my parters fussy eating habits. Ive just read the below review and was quite shocked to hear about the coldness of the restaurant, everytime we have dined there we have been rather comfortable in a cosy warm environment. i have highly recommended this restaurant to all of my friends and family, who have gone on to bring friends and work colleagues. All in all the staff are very friendly and the restaurant seems very famiily orientated, im pretty sure from all of my dining experiences that the staff would have done their upper most to help the people in the below review if only they had mentioned it at the time. Dont go by what this person says and try elianos for yourself. Im sure as i have you will have a most enjoyable time. I have visited this restaurant twice in the past week and both times were excellent!!

We visited the restaurant for the first time and chose from the lunchtime menu 2 courses £6.95.

The starters were delicious these included a ham broth and the potato skins with a garlic dip.

The main courses however were disappointing, a pepperoni pizza that quite frankly wasn't nice at all and a chicken dish that sounded mouthwatering on the menu but didn't live up to the description.

The restaurant was freezing cold and my daughter had to sit with her coat on throughout the meal. I noticed two ladies on the opposite table also slipped their coats back on after a short while.

after being recomened by a friend to take girlfriend for a romantic dinner to selabrate her birterday at eliano's brasserie. on arival we were shown to our candle lite table wich set the mood we both ordered the spagetti lobster room the specials i can say was te best meal i hae eaten in middlesbrough will deinatly rrecomend it to my riends

Eliano's Brasserie, Middlesbrough has great food and exellent service, staff are also very polite and welcoming.

I had for a starter a bruscetta rustica and lamb for main coruse then a home made chocolate fudge cake for a sweet the restaurant has a homely feeling with rthe staff working together to create what could be, in my opinion, the best meal out.

we are italians from puglia and we were in middlesbrough for our christmas holidays and just by chance we ended up in elianos brasserie it was really good food we were amused .very frendly owner that made us feel at home the atmosphere was fantastic great music and delishes homemade italian desserts.we went there quite alot juring our stay as other resturants around the region were not very good and expensive.i recommand it as being italian i know what good food is and the pastas were cooked perfectly presented with tastey sauces. fantastico!!!!!!

This was the first time we had eaten there but it won't be the last. The service that we received was excellent it was our first time in there as we usually use other Italian establishments the food that we ordered was very tasty and we didn't have to wait long to receive our order the price for our meal was very good as well.

Eliano's Brasserie is the finest Italian in Middlesbrough that I have yet found. I had a lasagne and it was top drawer. They also do one of the most delicious garlic breads I have ever come across. Only been there once, but plan to go back next time I'm in the Boro.
