Been coming here for years, the service is always great!Everything is fresh,a good selection of chutney and yoghurt along with a fresh side salad.Great atmosphere & the menu has a wide range. Thank you Herb and Spice))

Been to Herb and Spice in Dukinfield tonight its the 1st time I have been to an indian resturant but the experiance was amazing. I don't really eat curry but what I chose was lovely. There was 18 of us alltogether and the bill came up to 350.85 but considering people was having drinks left right and centre I find that quite reasonable can't wait to go again. On the downside they got the wrong starter to one of us and they brought the wrong rice for me but overall my experiance was outstanding. The menu is really simple to use as it gives you a good description on what you are ordering I had a little trouble choosing but I finally got there and it was scrumdidiliotious. I was impressed at the fact they give you popadoms with hot and yoghurt sauce also red onion, colslaw,chillies and mango.

We have been using this resteraunt for many years it has a fabulous service inside and out food is fabulous we really enjoy it a credit to Dukinfield .

We have been using ths restaurant for many years, the staff are welcoming and the restaurant is spacious offering open tables or more intimate booths.

You feel like a family member when you enter this restaurant. The menu is varied with chef's creations, fish dishes and the standard range of sauces. The chef's will adapt your dish to suit eg Rogan Josh but slightly hotter or Pathia but slightly milder, just ask.

The lamb chop starter is superb 3 beautiful tender lamb chops with salad.

I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The Herb and Spice in Dukinfield is a fantastic place to go. We went last weekend for my friends 40th Birthday and there were 25 of us there ranging in age from 11 months to 65 years! The atmosphere was brilliant and it was sooo cheap. For myself, my husband and my 7 year old daughter it was £29.00.

We had a really pleasant evening and we are in fact going back there this evening, just the three of us :)

i was not impressed with this place, 1st impression when we entered was 1 of excitement but that quickly disintegrated when we were taken to our table. table cloths were dirty and we had to ask a waiter for clean cutlery as the ones on the that table were clearly used. Service was poor to say the least,clearly the staff were not bothered as they kept walking passed us with tunnel vision, we had to wait a lifetime for are drinks and food was sub standard, no taste and seemed the main ingredient was water. we were then offered free coffee which we declined because all we wanted to do was get out as fast as possible bt even that seemed like a tedious request to the waiter as we had to wait a good ten minutes for the bill which when it arrived was grossly overpriced. it had on the front of the restarant a banner for 2 4 1 but seemed like the management forgot about that so once we had that rectifyed we gladly left

Excellent place to go. We regularly go for my birthday and valentines day.WE have taken family and friends and now they are regulars too. We Love it. The food is fresh tasty and well presented. They always present me with a birthday cake and the staff can't do enough for you. They are polite and quick to attend to you. There are intimate booths or large tables to suit whatever dinning experience you want.

I BOOKED A TABLE FOR 5 AT THE CURRY COTTAGE ,WE WAS SAT IN A BOOTH THAT WAS ONLY SUITABLE FOR 4 MAX. WE PHONED HERB N SPICE WHILST SAT IN THE CURRY COTTAGE ,WE THEN WALKED ROUND THE CORNER TO THIS RESTAURANT,IT WAS SUPERB.WE WENT WITH OUR 3 CHILDREN FOR MY SONS 13TH BIRTHDAY THE WAITERS WERE FRIENDLY AND CAME OUT WITH A CAKE FOR HIM.WOULD GO AGAIN AND AGAIN WE ALL HAD A FANTASTIC TIME FOOD WAS FRESH WITH GREAT CHOICES , DESSERTS WAS PLENTIFUL.IF YOU WANT A GREAT INDIAN GO HERE, NOT THE CURRY COTTAGE.

This is a superb curry house, with such pleasant staff who will make you feel so welcome. The food was first class, and easily competes with the Curry mile in Manchester. I have eaten at many a Indian restaurant in the North West, but without a shadow of doubt the Herb & Spice comes top of the pile.

Herbs and Spice is undoubtedly the best indian restaurant in Tameside. i travel far and wide for a curry and this beats them all. I have had to betray my old regular indian restuarant snd switch to herbs because it's faultless. Excellent varied menu, lovely staff and nice draught cobra. You must go!... my mouth is watering as i speak
