The River House Restaurant, Stirling

Have been to The River House Restaurant several times, & it's always too warm.

Last visit (13 3 9) food was definitely underwhelming - 2 friends had pasta dish - said it was very bland, with no sauce to speak of. Another friend's starter of avocado salad had very little salad, plenty avocao, & too much red onion. My stroganoff, was warm, but not hot, & I couldn't cut through the broccoli. Disappointing,

Have eaten here several times before, & always enjoyed the ambience, the staff's professional attendance & overall experience, so am hoping this was just a day off for the chef .. . it was the 13th after all.

Staff are very professional, & friendly. Facilities are comfortable. Toilets are lovely, Usually I enjoy the food very much.
