I Used To Eat At The Gupshill Manor Every Sunday,
i used to eat at the gupshill manor every sunday, until one week there was a hair in my food, but i was told the it was something off of the veg, and then last week i had a finger nail in the middle of my stuffing, but was told that it was a peice of plastic??? i think i know what a finger nail looks like, staff i find very rude and havent got time for you, when you are paying around £70 for 2 adults and 2 children you do expect a better service, but i will not be eating at the gupshill manor again.

I Have Been Eating At The Gupshill Manor Regularly
I have been eating at the Gupshill Manor regularly since the refurbishment and I have to say, every time I go I am impressed yet again.
The food is excellent quality, I have been told that the produce is locally sourced. The atmosphere is relaxed whether you are in the formal restaurant area or sat near the bar on the sofas. The staff are well-informed, attentive but not too over-bearing. I don't believe they have ever been rude to us and as for the comment that they are 'just waiting staff' well, I would say that you are the rude and pompous one. For many of the younger ones this is a job to earn them a bit of pocket money not a career choice. And don't forget that we are talking about teenagers here, you should allow for human error, this isn't the Ritz!

I Went To The Gusphill Manor In Tewkesbury With A
I went to the Gusphill Manor in Tewkesbury with a group of friends for my birthday. I had a waiter having a go at me about ordering dessert too early (?) and being generally rude. Im not sure if he was trying to be funny but he was not, and it caused an atmosphere. Maybe he should focus on customer service rather than flounching about. When I asked for a glass of wine I was told to 'wait a minute'. The food was fine but when we came to pay we literally could have just walked out. No one gave us a bill and we had to ask to pay. The bill was divided amongst the group, three people were over charged. Its a real shame as the place is nice and the food is fine. I would get new service staff and sort out the billing system.

The Goats Cheese Starter Is Delicious, I Had It Tw
The goats cheese starter is delicious, I had it two nights running! Fillet steak superb and served with a delicious tomato and balsamic relish. Fantastic green pepper sauce! Visited two nights running whilst on holiday, amazing on the first night but the food was not quite as good on the second. The bread in the starter was slightly burnt and the meal could have been hotter. Service is a little slow, but definately worth another visit!

The Food Is Good But The Staff Seem To Have An Air
The food is good but the staff seem to have an air of snottiness and sometimes you can be left waiting while the staff are faffing about and chatting to each other. Some of the staff are ok - a few of the younger ones are cheerful and chatty but the rest seem to look down their noses at you, for what reason I do not know as they themselves are only waiting staff and there to serve but are not doing it very well! Please remember Gupshill staff you are there to serve me, not make me feel uncomfortable.

Our First Time Eating At The Gupsil Since Its Refu
Our first time eating at the Gupsil since its refurb. Overall we had a good evening, in this very popular pub restaurant. The highlights were the goats cheese starter, deserts and the attentive (if not always well informed) staff. The mains were a bit disapointing they sounded great on the menu (Monkfish on Chirizo mash with a garlic cream sauce) but were not well executed. The Monkish smelt fishy when it arrived on our table which suggested it was not as fresh as it could be and the pieces we had were bland and stringy. There was far to much mash on the plate and the vegetables and mash lacked seasoning. I think the owners should also consider a better way of presenting their menu, three sheets of crumpled a4 paper stapled together does not give a good first impression.
