Hox Brasserie, Salisbury

We always eat at Hox when visiting friends in Salisbury, a couple of times a year. good service, imaginative contemporary food and pleasant surroundings. It's popularity means it's advisable to book.

Not very good service. We were not provided what we were commited. Every time we had to speak with the manager to ask why were not given a particular dish and then after a brief discussion we got it. Not very impressed.

Hox Brasserie is awfull and the food is stale, was probably leftover from previous day. I had severe stomach upset therafter. I should have reported this incident to the Wiltshire council.

The dishes are overpriced and its a shame for Indian Cuisine which is known world wide for its varied flavours. I will never recommend anyone.

I actually felt, I was robbed at HOX Brasserie. I paid 32 ponds for sitting in a cramped corner of the restaurant and not getting the service at all. Was sitting for more than 30 minutes and still no starter was served.. it was committed by the HOX that it will be a buffet, which will include full three course meal... but there was no food at all... we never got starters and in main course there was only rice (biryani) which was also not sufficient for the group of 20 people.... So we left the place paying fortune for pethatic food, embience..in short everythng was awfull..
