The Rising Sun - Lacock, Chippenham

The Rising Sun at Lacock , Chippenham is a lovely pub restaurant on top of a hill with beautiful gardens and views, food is traditionally British and well prepared and cooked, and served by lively polite staff, who trike the balance between friendly and not being intrusive. Great Selection of Bath Ales, Sharps and lagers etc, decor very traditional country pub , but nice fires, dog friendly and chatty locals too. Enjoy it there , would go more if we had time, and asking for non menu items, and mixing dishes up etc didnt seem to be an issue at all. Only issue is an old fashioned and very aged mens bathroom , this needs a refurbishment , its not good enough in this day and age.
