Really Good Starters..the Moules Mariniere Was Ric
Really good starters..the moules mariniere was rich, creamy but not overpowering. The vincigrassi was very tasty. Similarly mains were delicious but left no room for desert.Service was very good, efficient and friendly. Will enjoy going again

I Regularly Use The Mimosa Bar And Kitchen Restaur
I regularly use the Mimosa Bar and Kitchen restaurant in Cardiff Bay for business lunches. Their young staff are generally bilingual Welsh speakers, which is always a bonus for us who enjoy the language. The quality of their food is excellent. Yesterday I enjoyed their slightly cliched Welsh Cawl (a hearty clear broth of root vegetables and lamb) and a slice of good Llanboidy Cheddar with bread. My friend opted for a stuffed panini, and said that it was good.
Our lunch, which included a large glass of Pinot Grigio and a glass of pineaple juice with lemonade, came in at - wait for it - £2,210. Yep. Two grand. The good news was that my card was accepted. The better news was that the manager noticed her typo error immediately and went to great lengths to demonstrate the money had been returned to my account and that the error was purely hers!
They threw the drinks in for free, so we walked out, satisfied and well fed, for just over £14! They don't rush you, and you can just grab a drink if that's what you fancy. There's always a specials board, and their mussels (two choices of sauce) are plump and delicious!
Extremely good food and excellent service. But for those of us who spend far too much of our working days with the BBC... time your visits, as it can be a bit of a busman's holiday. Celebrities, tourists, good food and very affordable prices... what more could you ask for?!
