The Castle Kitchen, Cilgerran,Cardigan, Dyfed

All five of us had something different for starters, mains and desserts, and everything was first class- the food, wine, service! Will definitely go again next time we are in that part of the U.K. Make sure you go hungry, there is plenty served to you, and the desserts, well, you will have to try them for yourself! A great place to go for a memorable, atmospheric meal. If you want chicken nuggets, chips and peas or have small children it is perhaps not the place for you.

Excellent and friendly welcome from the castle kitchen. Beautiful food, well cooked from a decent menu. The pudding list is to die for! Most ingredients sourced locally and all cooked on the premises.

Small and friendly, The Castle Kitchen in Cilgerran run by a couple.Every dish is superb, and this means I don't care that the menu is limited. If there was a single dish on it, I'd happily go to eat it.Service is calm and friendly - as if you are a welcome visitor in someone's home, rather than a paying customer. Quite simply, I think this is the best restaurant I've ever eaten in - and I wish it was near home, instead of a few miles from a holiday cottage my wife and I visit occasionally.
