We Ate In Melissa's A Couple Of Times During Our L
We ate in Melissa's a couple of times during our last visit to Banff and to be fair it was fairly good. The restaurants in Banff are usually expensive or wild party joints....Melissa's is neither!
Its fairly relaxed with a decent menu covering most bases. Our group was mixed ages from 57 to 13 and all seemed very happy with the food and the service.
I would recommend the restaurant to anyone I know, who isn't expecting fine dining but wants decent food at a reasonable price.

We Went To Melissa's In Banff After Staying In The
We went to Melissa's in Banff after staying in the Homestead Inn next door. We had ceasar's salad, which to be fair was 'ok', the main course i had was chicken cordon bleu. The meal was burn, yet un cooked inside.
The meal looked un-appealing, and was tastless.
We made the mistake of paying, after we sent the whole lot back, and left.

We Went Snowboarding For 10 Days And Stayed In Ban
We went snowboarding for 10 days and stayed in Banff, Canada. Melissa's was right across the road, so was very convenient for us. I must add that Banff is relatively small so Melissa's can't be far away from anywhere in Banff.
We ate breakfast here on 8 of the 10 days, regretting having eaten elsewhere on the other 2 occasions. We also ate here on 2 nights. The breakfasts are fantastic and you can more or less have exactly what you want, continental to full Canadian breakfast, pancakes.....all yummy. Proper bacon and tea too!
Dinner is good, with a wide range to choose from, again excellent. All the food is prepared from fresh and cooked to order, and you can tell.
Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to eat lunch there but based on everything else, it's bound to be good.
After dinner you can waddle up to the upstairs bar for a sherbet or two! Mighty fine place, Melissa's. If you're ever in Banff, be sure to chow down there. www.melissasrestaurant.com
I found this review helpful because it was quick to read and gave all the information required.
