It's A Magnificent Film!
I came across the movie absolutely accidentially and I didn't expect anything special. But after I had started to watch it, it became really gripping for me. It's an historical and mostly philosophical picture with a profound meaning about faith (it's not a religious sense of faith but it's a genuine internal faith). From a historical point of view the film is not precise and some facts are not true, but I think it doesn't matter in this case because the creators pay attention to profound questions and the meaning of man's internal faith, belifes and conception of truth. In my opinion the star actors did an excellent job, there were splendid special effects and perfection of camerawork. I really enjoyed the picture and I would recommend you to see it.
I Just Loved This Book! I Can Only Think Of One Ba
I just loved this book! I can only think of one bad thing with it: The fight scenes were WAY to fast to understand what was going on on the screen.
I liked the romance that was kind of obviously going to happen between the girl and guy (I don't remember their names)
Also, I liked the idea of the two knights who were trying to corrupt the place with war. And when Ge came king. Tat was good because it showed the difference between a good king and an obviously bad one.
My favorite characters: The King, by far and the first one with leprosy, Orlando's character, the cool German guy who got an arrow/stake through his throat, the old Baron, and the guy who said "your enemy will always know good quality...."
My biggest love of this film was the script writing; it was very clever and very well written. Personally I feel that the writers don't get enough credit for what they do. They are one of the main bases of films, they hold it together like glue. And this script had loads of great lines in it. I loved it!
*Film. I meant film! Lol! Sorry!
Director Ridley Scott Has Done It Again! Kingdom
Director Ridley Scott has done it again! Kingdom of Heaven was worth the wait, and the three hours of this movie went by very fast. I enjoyed the actions, drama, and the visual effects. The battle scenes were tremendous, especially the terror of the fire balls when they hit their target.
Orlando Bloom was just right as the long-suffering Balian. The other cast of characters were also very dynamic and deserve recognition. The acting, drama, and battle scenes were so engaging that I lost track of the time and before I knew it, the movie was over. Kingdom of Heaven should be nominated for an Oscar.
I totally agree! It should have been nominated and won an oscar! It was fantastic!
It was three hours? OMG that went quickly! I knew i was long but it didn't seem that long! That just shows its a great an captivating film.
Great review and I agree with you on all of it!
